Close to temple , take new deluxe room above reception . Reception staff very helpful and driver they arranged also helpful . Breakfast very average . General manager didn’t bother to return call so he gets a negative rating . In this temple town there are bigger hotels further away but this hotel did its job

So far, anyone going to Ujjain used to stay at Indore as no decent hotels show up in ujjain. This time round, we decided to book this MP tourism facility. We booked suite room, just to be sure. It was very spacious , very clean and comfortable. The food was very good. The parking was spacious and safe. It was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very helpful. It is clearly best place to stay in ujjain. The only irritant was that the geyser was not working. And it's not really very close to the temple, but that's fine. Overall, will recommend it. It also has a bar and they serve non vegetarian food on request. We never used these facilities, but peeped in the bar..was not so inviting.

Good place to stay at Ujjain. Staff behaviour very good. Hotel having restaurant and bar. Restaurant serves both veg and non veg food. Little far from main temple. Hotel under MP state tourism. Parking facilities available. Market places are nearer. Food at restaurant little costlier but tasty. Overall rating- good

We stayed here when we visited tghe Mahakal temple and Omkareshwar. The hotel has very basic facilities. The place has a nice layout and parking facilities but upkeep of the rooms is below average. The railings on 1st and 2nd floor are so low that there is a serious chance of falling off. The room is large but can look better. Bathroom has an electric geyser. So, hot water availability is good. Basic toiletries are provided. Complementary vegetarian breakfast is provided. Egg preparations can be ordered separately.

Currently staying in this hotel room # 308. There is a huge pile of used mattress in front of our room. Looked like a trash pile right in front of the main door. Do not know when was the last time the bathroom was cleaned. Brown wall tiles with white plaque and white floor tiles with black plaque. Right behind my bed there was a huge seepage ( see picture ). Called the reception- answer was sorry we are sold out and this is what we have despite the fact that we booked this property one month in advance. 11PM : Mosquitoes binging in my ears , called the reception again , asking for mosquito repellent. What a waste of money …

I stayed in this hotel for two days on 26/10/2023 and 27/10/2023 ***** with my mom and dad. Their suit room in the ground floor in which I have stayed is simply huge in size (nearby to a flat of 1BHK). The staffs of the hotel are really co-operative and quality of food is simply awesome. The yellow dal from the menu is a must try over here. I wish that in future the great hospitality of the instant hotel remains the same as of now. We spend 5 nights at this Hotel. The staff was very helpfull, when something had gone wrong, and we didn't get the planned twin beds. They did all they could to find a solution to the problem - and they did! The hotel has a perfect location. Local area to explore right behind the hotel. Local place to eat just outside the gate. It was very easy and just a short drive from the hotel and down to all the Temples and Ghats. The hotel was very clean.

good location,near to railway station,near to mahakaleshwer temple,worth staying compared to prices,good hotel,food not so great.rooms are adequate in size,good staff,ample parking space,family friendly.

Excellent hotel. Nice place. Restaurant and bar is superb. There are 3 types of room. Prefer deluxe. It has good proximity to all temples including mahakal. Don't forget to visit Mahakal corridor in the night.

This is big and specious property, rooms are big but you can make out that it is old. Facilities and items provided in room are good. Breakfast was Very good , we liked it very much. but lunch and dinner were not good. Staff is old in aga and have attitude of government job, so response to any of your request takes time to be served. Still I would suggest this property for a family stay

MPT Shipra is an ideal tourist destination for the travellers visiting Ujjain. The hotel is a star property with ample space for parking and relaxation. Stayed here during our Ujjain tour from 7th to 10th October in Deluxe room. Rooms are cosy and spacious with the modern amenities like Electric Kettle and Mini Fridge. They provide necessary toileteries in the washroom. Worth mentioning is the behaviour of the hotel staff. They are ready to offer any assistance with a smiling face. The restaurant inside offers delicious food though a bit costly. We started at 1 am to see Bhasma Arati at Mahakal Temple and the transport was provided hassle free to us. The only problem is the hotel is a bit far away from the Mahakal Temple and so the transport cost has to be borne. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

I actually rate it 3.5 stars, - Costing is really good and fits in budget - The Rooms are very good and spacious (can even accommodate 3 people easily - Hygine and cleanliness is very good and considering its a old building the maintenance is good - Ample of open space to chill - Parking is available and well managed - Driver accommodation is not there but they provide pillows and blankets post 11pm and the staff can sleep on sofas there which is decent enough - Food Quality is good and taste is also good - Pls dont expect a wide spread for breakfast and dinner buffets as in MP basics like Poha, Idli, Puri etc are provided unlike resorts and hotels in Maharashtra - Room service staff is humble, polite and helpful - Restaurant staff is is a bit rude and services people depending on their mood which is actually a bad experience - The property is located in the city with close proximity from Mahakal Temple, Station and Markets Altogether it was a good stay and I recommend it for a 1-2 days family stay! Good decent hotel , ample parking , spacious rooms , dinner was okay, breakfast was okay, staff are cooperative, clean rooms , nice place to stay , however room service takes time , 5 minutes away from temple by Autorickshaw

Was apprehensive when booking the hotel. We stayed at Room 226 for a day/night on April 26, 2022. An excellent property, old but very well maintained. Very good rooms, spacious and well furnished, very good bed, nice and clean toilet. The reception staff especially Ravi Iyer are very customer friendly, very hospitable. Extremely breezy check in and check out. Food at restaurant is very good. Free breakfast for guests is quite good, reasonable spread. Overall, an excellent stay, will re visit during future visits
