I sent a complaint about this property to the head office before making a poor review. I was in Ulladulla for a funeral and had driven from Port Macquarie that day. My complaint was mostly about how dirty the room was. This is the response I received: Hello Diane, Thank you for your feedback. We will pass this on for our staff to read. We have a discount on our website if you book directly on our website, you can save up to 15%. We cannot control what the other website sell the rooms for. We have a reception sign right above the office door. Our staff are trained daily as they meet all type of people in different situations. They always try to make people feel welcome - unfortunately this cannot always be accomplished. Our staff try to make everyone feel welcome when they check in. You were given 2 keys for your room- both these keys can be used to open your door, as well as be used in the power box. On your check in letter the staff write your room number & the WIFI password, for you to be able to used when needed- we also have an after-hours number you can call if you require further information. This is located in multiple places on the office door, next to the check in box as well this number is located in your compendium. Our staff inform guest of the back gate in case guest would like to use it- this is only a suggestion. Our pool is open while staff is on duty from 9 am till 6 pm we also have after hours staff which can let you in till a reasonable time. You never informed the staff of the light not working. You never once let staff know about any of your other concerns -as they would have been more than happy to clean up the room or upgrade you to another room at no extra cost. We closed breakfast down due to covid in 2019 and we have not reopened it. I have had a look on hotels.com and can not see where it have breakfast advised. We are not a 5 star accommodation. We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us, but we are unable to correct any of your complaints if we are not informed of them until you have checked out and gone home. We have an after hours number you could have called at any time to let us know of your concerns if the office was closed. There will no refund. Regards Alicia Martin Reception
