The Ferry Boat Inn is most definately not worth the expensive price they charge. We were told we had to pay on arrival, before we saw our room and now I understand why, as we would have left. The photo of the room on the website must be the best room they have, as our room was small, dirty and awful. The bathroom was the size of a cupboard and when I went to use the shower it had loads of hair in it, so clearly hadn't been cleaned. The bed was comfy, but the pillows were hard and big, making my neck hurt. Generally the place smelt really bad and the corridors were dark, plain and needed a serious re paint. Generally this place is dated, badly decorated and the facilities are basic at a push. The location is great though and I'm glad I wasted an extra £20 for a Loch view, because without that, it would have been utterly depressing. I am never coming back here and will never recommend. If we had of paid £85 to stay here we may have felt that it was okay, but we were charged double that. Breakfast was not included, so for this kind if price, I would expect so much more.
