首都珍珠酒店(The Capital Pearls Hotel)

I was sorely disappointed in the hotel. Staff were unfriendly and they made me feel that I was bothering them for simple questions such as breakfast times. The housekeeper walked into my room without knocking. Parking was a nightmare too. The window lining had come lose and I had a loud whistling noise all night long. I complained about all this and I received an insincere apology. Although very nicely situated, I'd never stay here again! The staff member that helped me with my luggage and finding the correct parking was an amazing staff member. The only person I dealt with that was friendly.

My stay here was absolutely lovely! The staff are very attentive and extremely helpful and friendly! I thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Pearls. I would like to give a shout at to the Executive Chef Gerald, who went above and beyond to prepare delicious vegetarian dishes with his special touch. He was very hospitable and kind! I will definitely be staying here the next time I visit Durban. Amazing service with a smile!

Met the most professional and kind staff at Capital Pearl's Hotel. Room was amazing and neat. Location is great as the beach is a short walk away. Splendid team and had a marvelous experience and stay

Wow! I need the most pleasant experience at this hotel, I’d recommend it to anyone who’d like to be close to the beach and do a little bit of shopping.

Everything was top tier from checking in to check out, but what stood out was the service. We had medical emergency and received the best care from Justin and Mthobisi, Justin had called to check how our stay was so far and I explained that my husband wasn't well, himself and Mthobisi were at our room within minutes and tending to my husbands well being, they bought up breakfast at no extra charge and took us through the complex to seek medical attention. I don't know what I would have done if they did not come to my aid when they did. They still called after our checkout to find out how my husband was doing. That was truly phenomenal to experience such care, the capital is not only a business but truly cares for the wellbeing of their guests.

I was part of a group having a training in the hotel. Initially the company had booked 3 nights for me, and a full week for the rest of the team. Then, due to exigencies of work, I had to extend with 2 days, in line with the rest of my colleagues. But the hotel could not accommodate this request, only one night was extended and I had to check out before the termination of the event. No visible efforts were made to justify this decision by the side of hotel management.

Only to consider smoking people. The building is clean and staff is friendly. The idea of taking Guests for a tour in the dining area is brilliant. The carrying of luggage for Guests is appealing. The Floor Walker for asking Guests of their night spent is so humbling. The surrounding area is user friendly in terms of shops, entertainment areas, the ocean, etc.
