Excellent location with secure parking. Comfortable and clean room. Strong WiFi, welcoming staff, and a full and varied breakfast to top off a great place to stay while in Mthatha.

Standard rooms, with decent decor. Situated next to two restaurants and mini mall.

Onpersoonlijke ontvangst, onveilig aanvoelende omgeving. Kamer met bad in de kamer, voor ons niet goed, vocht in de slaapkamer(geen verluchting). Bij het ontbijt (volgens ons lokale bevolking) we denken dat ze naar de zondag mis gingen, buffet was leeg en werd niet meer aangevuld(enkel nog een gebakken ei te krijgen). Kwam bij ons over als een motel en geen Hotel. Hebben gemeld aan receptie dat er geen ontbijt meer was en antwoord was, sorry.

Disappointed in the area, noisy (cars spinning and playing loud music and entrance dirty - urine smells) and overall condition of the rooms (essentials not working: lights and aircon). No private access from reception to rooms above Spur.

I enjoyed my stay for one night, the bed and room were nice, I also enjoyed that I was able to eat at the Panarotti's

Place is very easy to find,greeted by the friendliest receptionist.Rooms very clean,adequate for the over night stay. Breakfast was subpar,not much variety for a buffet and what was there was poorly cooked,fruit were good though. Overall it was an average stay.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at Hotel Savoy! After a super long drive and arriving way before check‑in time, the fantastic lady at the front desk worked wonders and gave us an early check‑in – huge kudos to her! The rooms were stunning, and the air‑conditioning was spot‑on, making our rest perfect. We had to check out early to continue our long drive, and the hotel still managed to accommodate us with a delicious breakfast. The service was top‑notch and made our experience unforgettable. I highly recommend Hotel Savoy to anyone looking for excellent service, comfortable rooms, and great hospitality.

We stayed at Hotel Savoy and Conference Centre for one night. The hotel is easy to find and easily accessible from the main road. The room was decent – the bed was comfortable. The bathroom, though a bit small, was clean and tidy. Unfortunately, the TV offered very limited channels, which was a bit disappointing. The biggest letdown of the stay, however, was the cold shower in the morning – definitely not something you want to deal with, especially on a cold, winter morning. Breakfast was okay but could be improved. It felt like mass catering, where unpopular items were left out for long periods and lacked freshness. I was particularly disappointed with the mushrooms – soggy and unappetising. The fruit selection was quite limited, but the omelette was a highlight and well-prepared. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, though the reception area still has a screen separating staff and guests, which made the experience feel a bit cold and unwelcoming. The walls a re quite thin so you literally hear everything from your neighbour or the corridor. There is renovations going on as well, so the noise from the construction is an issue if you prefer to start your day with peace and queite. Overall, it’s a functional stopover hotel, but there's room for improvement, especially with hot water and the breakfast offering.

Customer service was excellent - the staff couldn't have been more helpful. There was an excellent choice for breakfast and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The location was very convenient for the airport.

Very bad location and the staff were not friendly I didn’t spend a night there I had to look for another place to sleep

For R1800 a night that room certainly did not bring value for my money. TV channels were bad quality hardly playing, no fridge and microwave. I expected a lot for the amount of money that I paid yet I got an average room similar to all ordinary BnB's I once came across.
