The lodge was dirty and smelly from the entrance already. The room was small and carpet very dirty and stained all over. There is terrible traffic noise through the night. No entertainments, . This place was my worst stay ever.

Didn’t let us cancel, after something that was out of our hands was cancelled.

Smelt damp as soon as soon as we walked in, water dripping from the ceiling in the walk way, fire doors being held open by fire extinguisher and side doors open all night which meant anyone could of walked in

Excellent location. Property in need of an upgrade but otherwise fine. Only Subway and Starbucks open. No Greggs

Brilliant for the money. Wish the checkout procedure was easier like putting the key in a box (like Travelodge) an the showergel would have been nice but for the money you pay, well worth it. A hidden gem.

Convenient location (adjacent to services) for Monmouth (9 miles away) and Raglan (2 miles away) and an ideal place to break up a long journey.

The room was recently renovated and definitely represented value for money. Just the entrance area needs cleaning and renovating as we nearly turned around and left as it was so dirty.

For the price the hotel was OK, thankfully it was only a bed for the night whilst working nearby. Its the little things that let it down, first impression when you walk in the foyer is to walk back out, but then when you get in the room itself things are not too bad, Plug missing from batch, back missing off remote control, windows and mirrors are dirty. You get what you pay for.
