Stayed at the hostel for two nights in June. It is set in the countryside of Schaan and was perfect for walking throughout Liechtenstein for a few days. The room was comfortable and clean, with all amenities needed for the time we stayed. Breakfast was made up of a good spread of items. Members of staff were very helpful when we checked in and out, as well as when we had any questions. The hostel, although a little way out of Vaduz, has excellent transport links to other parts of Liechtenstein, Austria, and Switzerland making it great for a few days.

After few years I returned to Grand Hotel, it had been always my escape to paradise and I enjoyed it immensely. This time I was surprised by not finding the reception where it used to be, the entry to Grand Hotel was instead filled with shops and boutiques. Do you really find it necessary and profitable? I have never seen any customers in these fancy boutiques, I hated them, the hotel changed into a market, kind of upper class market with cashmere clothes and glitter junk. Not so many oligarchs any more, so what is it good for? The new design of the rooms is rather disappointing, I prefered the old, cosy beige, golden style. Anyway, Helena Bad is still the same and the staff is gentle, kind and professional. Please, get rid of these ridiculous shops and reinstall the old reception desk.

We booked 2 rooms at the Mercure City west in Chur, in one of the rooms the comforter had blood stains, this was very unpleasant, the rooms were large and comfortable but not clean, the pillows were not comfortable and the breakfast was very bad, and the price is 25 CHF , you can find better breakfast in the city west shopping center for less ,don't pay the breakfast in the hotel ,the front desk was not friendly and unapologetic when we told them about the blood stains on the comforter, never said sorry.The people in this city is very rude. We do not recommend this Mercure Hotel in Chur, we have stayed in several Mercure Hotels and they have been good, unfortunately not this one.

We spent two nights here recently and fell in love with this property. We chose it because it is just a 30-minute drive to Vaduz, Liechtenstein, which we were in the area to explore. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room with a balcony and a view. This was the biggest hotel balcony I've ever seen! It was a beautiful room. We ate dinner in the restaurant one night and found the food to be delicious. The portions were large enough that my husband and I wished that we had ordered one entree to share. The staff was friendly and helpful. We walked all around the property to see the spa, pool, meeting area, sauna and more. The bathroom in our room was huge and the shower was terrific after a long day out. It was just a beautiful property, and we would gladly stay here again any time. It was a peaceful two-night stay. Stayed one night, nice charming, very old building, family type small hotel with old but clean minimalist room, small basic bathroom. In my room window on the side of the street, occasionally noisy, especially if windows open. No A/C. Restaurent with nice small terrace is good but not extraordinary, good selection on the wine list. Everyone working was nice and polite. Very good breakfast. Would be perfect place at 160 Sfr. If must stay in that are for a night, probably best choice, anyway.
