This place is in a perfect location, has great service, and nice accommodations. Just a few steps to the farmers market and a quick jaunt across the covered bridge to the town center. We like the condos with a balcony. There is a hot tub and a small pool.

Excellent location, great amenities, easy to wash clothes, great cleaning service, the apartment is very good, amazing mountain view, very near to restaurants, gondola, shops, bus stop, sky rentals etc

Excellent location and very nice rooms. What more can you ask for. It is Vail so it is not cheap. The location , right near the Covered bridge is excellent since it is near The Betty Ford gardens and the Gerald R. Ford venue. The rooms were excellent and cleaned daily. If you don’t want to be right open the middle of Vail this is the place. Be advised that the hotel does not have parking, however but the huge public parking garage is right across the street. At first it was a bit daunting but after you figure out the perfect parking location in the multi level garage near the hotel it is very convenient. Parking is free during the day But adds up at night. The pub downstairs is also excellent.

We have been enjoying the mountain haus for years and it keeps getting better. The staff are all cheerful and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that our needs are met. Great location for skiing and walking around town. Having stayed at many other hotels in Vail over the years with family, kids, and friends, we have settled on the Mountain Haus as our favorite. Best value on the mountain.

Group of six friends recently stayed here. Found the three bedroom condo to be a great value and hard to beat the short walk to Village and Gondola One. Overall the unit was a bit dated but clean and spacious with plenty of room to lounge when not on the slopes or out on the town. Kitchen was well appointed and full size dining table seated us all. Beds were comfortable and entryway had plenty of room for us to hang up our jackets, etc after a long day on the slopes. Unit was stifling hot even after heaters were turned off so we ended up opening windows at night to cool down. A few wall blemishes or small patches of bathroom ceiling peeling keep it from a five star stay but overall would recommend and would definitely stay again. Hot tob and hot (not just heated but hot) pool were amazing after a day on the slopes and the steam room was an added benefit. Found the front desk staff to be polite and helpful if not overly engaging.

Just went on a short 3 day ski trip to Vail, reserved and prepaid a Penthouse 3 Bdrm apartment with friends for $1400 / night, showed up and Mountain Haus had put us in room that was not what we reserved, we asked at front desk and we’re told that owner of penthouse was coming in and we were bumped therefore downgraded. Without sympathy, Mountain Haus told us to walk or accept the downgrade, not much left in Vail at that time so had to suck up. They gave us a $300 discount for the downgrade but for a far inferior room that one person had to literally sleep on couch. The arrogance of the desk staff was second to none and that they were doing us a service after they committed fraud by selling a non cancellable room and intentionally downgraded us, avoid like the plague. Next complaint to Colorado Dept of Regulatory Agencies

Montain Haus has a great location in the center of Vail Village. Our condo had everything and the staff was awesome. So helpful with all our requests, specially with our toddler (equipped us with high chair, crib and stair rail. They met all our needs with a smile.

We LOVE Mountain Haus! it's a condo with top hotel qualities and concierge service. Almost everyone was super-friendly and helpful anytime of day. Daily room service and great breakfast was such a bonus. Seriously condo size and hotel amenities. We loved the hot tub, and free laundry to wash some things that won't survive the whole time. The bus really didn't bother us and we were facing it. A little singing on New Year's eve, but that is to be expected. Our unit was well-appointed and super. We would stay there again and definitely recommend! Crack the door if you have to. Get over yourself. Would you rather be cold?

The property is very convenient but so outdated. The hot tub was not hot- the women’s sauna was out of order- the coffee machine broke Monday- room temps are unbalanced- the management was defensive and rude.

Definitely not 5-star accommodations but this place checks all the boxes. Price was decent. Gondola One is a short 5 minute walk. The George restaurant/bar is located on the bottom floor. Full kitchen. Next to the bus station (which you can take bus to and from Eagle for $4 each way - super convenient). Breakfast is included. Totally recommend this place for a trip out to Vail.

We have been to Vail many times and after our first stay here, we can’t wait to come back. We stayed on first floor but because the balcony was off the ground, it still had a great view of the river and walking trail. The gas fireplace was easy to use, cozy and warm enough to dry our wet gear. The bed linens and bathrobes were 5 star quality. Housekeeping service everyday was great. The coffee/espresso machine in the lobby was not only free, but it was the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had from a machine, and I was sure to stop by many times a day for more! (Hot cocoa, decaf, hot water and tea assortment were also included) Freshly baked cookies were set out every afternoon and were scrumptious. The free breakfast (served 7:30-9:30) was overflowing with options such as breakfast meats, eggs, fruit, etc. It was the perfect start to a day on the slopes. One of the main reasons we wanted to stay here, is the ski in/ ski out feature. It was so convenient to not have to take a shuttle, or drive any distance to get to the lifts. The hotel is also situated right across the street from the parking garage where we parked our rental car, but never needed to use it! The spa was the best way to wind down. Included is a fitness room, steam rooms and saunas, indoor hot tub, outdoor hot tub and outdoor pool. All were clean, well taken care of and gave people lots of room to enjoy the ambiance. Added features that made a great impression: knowledgeable and friendly front desk staff, snacks in our welcome bag, fans and humidifiers in both bedrooms (both were needed), comfortable sofa bed mattress, great restaurant/bar on lower level, hotel is steps away from the covered bridge and shops. I do wish our room had a Smart TV, and I wish the hotel had a sundries shop, but neither mattered in the end. My family and I were so happy here and can’t wait to come back. A+
