Came here for dinner with my family. Firstly I would like to say huge compliments to the chef, food was amazing and came out quickly. I noticed it was only one person in the kitchen but despite this everything was perfect. Waiting staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely return! Great value for money. I’ve been here for breakfast too and it was just as good.

Amazing service. I stayed here for 2 nights whilst I was visiting my family and was checked in by a young lad, he had a lovely and polite manner and did the check in smoothly and quickly with no complications. I was then served by him and a young girl who both had fantastic customer service. There was one chef in the kitchen and no grill unfortunately but the food was amazing regardless, so huge compliments to the chef. When I came down for breakfast I was served by the same girl again and an older gentleman, they were both on top of a busy breakfast at every minute, making sure everything was stocked up and tables were set. For dinner the same day and breakfast again the next morning, I was shocked to see the same girl again, who then told me her name was Maddy when I asked. She, despite working the amount she had, was friendly, bubbly and always willing to engage in conversations. She was quick to resolve any problems that were risen to her and had a great attitude every time. I’d like to say a huge thank you to her especially and the rest of the hardworking staff who looked after me for the duration of my stay. Thank you ever so much and I will definitely be returning.

Nice stay over Read reviews and was put off eating in house Room new and clean lovely modern shower room Lots if places to eat in Abingdon which is a lovely place to visit The White Horse pub with grub is even closer within walking distance The Nags head has beautiful Riverside outside seating area good for a drink on a sunny day Shares a site with The Hilton Garden more upmarket but obviously more expensive and Tesco. Would return

Very comfortable and so nice and quiet loved the idea of a fan and heating definitely stay again please provide more coffee sachets

Arrived as part of a large party with a work booking - we had an issue trying to check us in and although the business was short staffed that day, Maddie went above and beyond to resolve our query. She was essentially single-handedly managing the bar, restaurant, customer queries and check in. She worked relentlessly to ensure that we had a suitable solution - thanks so much Maddie!!!

We booked 11 rooms for a wedding last week. After the mixed reviews, I was a bit concerned but our experience was great! Rooms were clean and breakfast was good, there was more choice on the Saturday (we stayed forn2 nights) All in all, we all enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely new hotel, located just off the A34 and right next to Tesco Extra - handy for fuel and lunch supplies etc. The lobby and rooms were smart and tidy and the beds very comfortable. Unfortunately, our experience of the staff was less impressive. On arrival (7pm on a Sunday evening of a bank holiday weekend), there was nobody at the check-in desk and the self-service terminals weren't working. The adjacent bar and restaurant were closed due to 'technical issues'. I rang the service bell and a member of staff appeared from a distant corner of the restaurant - himself and a female colleague were watching an iPad / phone and wearing headphones so hadn't seen / heard us arrive. Check in was a quick affair - they were obviously keen to get back to their film or whatever. That's not really a problem for us as we just want to get to the room. However, the following morning when we went down for breakfast, we were told that they couldn't accommodate us as we should have pre-booked a table when we checked in. This was not mentioned at the time and although we regularly stay in Premier Inns, I've never had to book a table for breakfast before so we had no idea. Despite lots of empty tables, they were adamant that they wouldn't let us into breakfast without the booking. Eventually, we persuaded the young lady to let us eat on the lower 'easy' chairs and tables between the restaurant and the lobby as it was her on duty when we checked in the evening before and she should've asked us to book then. Although we appreciated being accommodated, she was rather sulky and we overheard her speaking negatively about us to a colleague a bit later which wasn't great and not the usual friendly service we normally experience at the other Premier Inns we've stayed at.

We each paid £262 for a double room and breakfast & dinner deals for two nights, would have liked for us all to have been on the same floor but not the end of the world. Rooms were nice and clean, beds very comfy, only gripe was that it could do with triple glazing as Road was very noisy. Plenty of parking and petrol station & tescos right night door. Evening meals were fantastic for the deal, no pizzas as hadn’t defrosted in time plus a small gluten free menu that was suitable for the two nights. Evening staff on 6/7 were fantastic. Breakfast was ok, lovely lady (maybe manager?) 7th May was very helpful and quickly got some gluten free bread sorted, only issue was no eggs, mushrooms were cold and rest of hot food a bit like warm apart from the sausages which were lovely and hot. 8th May still no eggs or orange juice, tescos right next door. The two female staff just didn’t seem interested in the customers welfare. Crockery was left to pile up. Hats off to the young lad in the kitchen who always seemed to be there morning and night.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed, restaurant complet rubbish, staff waste of space, won't be back again. Breakfast stone cold, everything under cooked, evening meal not worth mentioning. .................................... . ...................................................................................mmm............ .........
