This hotel offered the most personalized service of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. My husband and I felt as though we were given the best room in a friend’s house. Very comfortable, delicious breakfast, caring hosts. Beautiful view from our deck, wonderful place to share a bottle of wine. Perfect for us HIGHLY recommend!

You are guaranteed a warm welcome from the proprietors who went the extra mile and freely gave out helpful information and tips. A brilliant location for seeing all the main sights. Breakfasts were great. A limited choice but something for everyone and nicely presented. Our room had an excellent view. A large comfortable bed with loads of space around and an area with table and easy chairs. Also enough room for suitcases and all our paraphernalia. There was a lovely roof terrace but the weather wasn’t suitable during our stay. Excellent value for money. Perhaps not suitable for the less mobile as no lift.

Three reasons to give this hotel top marks. First, the location in Cerro Concepcion, an oasis of tranquility yet right in the heart of the artistic area. In my opinion, far better than many of the other neighbourhoods to stay in. Secondly, the hotel itself. Comfortable, clean and homely. A true delight to return to after a hard day of walking around the city. Thirdly, the fabulous couple Marcelo and Gloria who own the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. They provided a wealth of information on tours and places to see. Gloria’s breakfasts were a highlight of the stay as well! Cannot recommend the place highly enough. All at a very reasonable price!

C'est un endroit où on se sent comme à la maison. Les chambres sont belles, vastes et confortables, les salles de bains aussi. Il y a une terrasse sur le toit (certaines chambres en ont une aussi) et de la bonne musique en sourdine. C'est bien placé, avec de nombreux petits cafés et restaurants à proximité, et un funiculaire pas loin (ouf !). Le petit déjeuner maison est original et varié. On a seulement regretté de ne pas pouvoir profiter du café (délicieux gâteaux maison) qui n'ouvre qu'une partie de la semaine. Non seulement je retournerai dans cet hôtel si je reviens à Valparaiso, mais j'ai même envie de revenir à Valparaiso rien que pour y retourner.

Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Jeden Tag liebevolles Frühstück. Viele Zutaten waren Selbstgemacht und gesund. Zimmer renoviert, mit viel Charm und tollem Blick. Perfekte Lage. Sehr nette Gastgeber, versuchen alle Wünsche der Gäste zu erfüllen. Nehmen sich sehr viek Zeit um die Gäste zu informietrnnund Tipps zu geben. Sonnenuntergang auf der Terrase - unvergäßlich. DANKE! Ein kleiner Minuspünktchen: Katze im Haus (Problem für Allergieker).

We were lucky enough to get the balcony suite on the top floor, which was a lovely room with a perfect view and quick access to the rooftop; However, by far and away the thing that made our day, the most exceptional were the two people that run the bed-and-breakfast, Gloria and Marcel. Their personal attention made us feel like we were the only guest and everything they did always had a special extra touch. We can’t thank them enough for a wonderful time as short as it was in their town of Valparaiso.

Fantastic little gem of a hotel, which definitely feels more like a bed & breakfast, because you feel right at home there. It's a former private house turned into a hotel, and feels very cozy and homey. Location is perfect to explore the coolest neighborhoods in Valparaiso (Cerro Alegre and Cerro Concepcion, it's right between the two) and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. But what really made a difference for me was Marcelo, the owner, who was super friendly and gave us great tips. That, plus the delicious made-to-order breakfast, which made a big difference vs. a traditional hotel! Would 100% recommend this beautiful place for anyone wanting to explore the city. Muy mal servicio. La persona encargada tiene actitud muy feo. También el lugar es muy descuidado. Tiene como un ambiente de una casa vieja donde nadie haga el mantenimiento ni importa sobre los clientes. Espero que los dueños reemplazan pronto las personas trabajando para brindar mejor servicio a huéspedes en que puede ser un hermoso lugar.
