Very helpful receptionist. Restaurant needs more waiters, but overall they are very friendly. En-suite needs to be maintained and the best way to do it, is to check each and every room if everything is still in a working condition. For what we have paid, we are very pleased.

Musty smell, thick mildew on window ledges in bedroom.........Extremely unpleasant irreverence on and off, specially on the bus tours.....and photo ops too often only driven by. That is to say that the bus mostly stopped again and again for botanical instruction but rather rarely for truly photogenic opportunities, even with flowers. The question being then: What do we get for putting up with the bad? The answer: Magnificent scenery, terrific "Afrikaans" cuisine, music and songs, extensive regional knowledge of all sorts delivered with, I'd say, a lot of "passion". However, the bottom line is, Is it worth suffering health problems for? For us, No.

It's all under one roof in this old-school hotel; accommodation, restaurant, bar, gift shop, aircon, Wi-Fi and my personal favourite - a self-help water fountain for still or sparkling options on tap. Very important in the hot, dry and thirsty Namaqualand. Easy to find the location and secure off-street parking provided. Excellent breakfast omelette and delicious calamari for supper!

The place was easy to find. it had a restaurant on the premises. The food was good and generous. The staff are polite and helpful. I wished it wasnt too fat from our 2nd destination as we could have stayed for two nights except the distance.

The hotel exceeded the expectations. Everything was nice and the chefs were serving with smile and making sure that all the orders are served as required. I will give the reference to my friends really everything was ous

The front desk officer was very helpful, friendly and managed to assist with all the necessary questions we had. I enjoy my food whenever I am travelling and I must say, they did not dissapoint in serving enough portions. Overall, a great place and would definitely recommend anyone travelling on N7 route.

Lovely lodge and value for money. We enjoyed every moment there. The only thing that bothered was other guests who was drunk during early hours of the morning as the rooms are not sound proof and our door was in the passage where all guest move past. I understand that there is a bar and do not have a problem with that. Our stay was really great.
