ロケーションはSanta Lucianaから徒歩と水上バスを使い30分。最寄りの水上バス方面は観光客が少なくて落ち着いている、逆側のサンマルコ大聖堂側にあるいていくと観光客が増える。サンマルコ大聖堂までは徒歩20分弱。
部屋は古くバスルームも新しくはない。

Huone oli erittäin siisti ja moderni sekä loistavalla sijainnilla. Spesiaalina huoneessa suihku sijaitsi sängyn päädyssä. Aamupala tarjoiltiin huoneeseen, mikä oli varsin runsas. Miinusta hieman siitä, että huoneeseen kuului toisten huoneiden suihkun äänet. Lisäksi itse huone sijaitsi noin 5min kävelymatkan päässä hotellin vastaanotosta. Majoitusvero piti maksaa käteisellä. Majoitushenkilökunnalta sai hyvin vinkkejä nähtävyyksistä sekä kulkuyhteyksistä.

Very nice hotel, lovely interior decor and location is perfect for gondolas, river taxis and the Grand Canal
However, the hotel gets marked down as they attempted to charge us 40 euros for checking in ‘late’ ie after 9.30 even though this wasn’t stated in the terms and conditions on *******.
We were whatsapped by the hotel the day before arrival on this. After backwards and forwards, they folded and let us self check in. I’ve never heard of a hotel ever for a late check in fee. It’s not as if we were arriving in the middle of the night anyway, we landed at 22.30 on a Friday!
The hotels attempt at a justification was there would be no staff after 9.30
Secondly, the drainage system was very loud in our room and kept going off in the middle of the night which disturbed our sleep

Holy cow this property and room was super amazing. We would stay here again in a minute. Breakfast was super!!! Service awesome. Clean and comfortable.
The only thing I could even remotely complain about is we were put in the annex. Which was an incredible room/suite- but 7-8 minute walk from where we thought we were going to be.

Escapade à Venise

What a wonderful place to stay! We were staying in the annex at San Maurizio which was less than a 10 minute walk to San Marco. The staff at the hotel were so helpful and friendly. We loved it! Would highly recommend.

The property was situated just off the Grand Canal. Conveniently located the 2nd stop via water taxi from the rail station. This 15th century building was one time a single residence. Appointed to the period and conveniently located to many Venice sites. David the manager did an amazing job at suggesting and making dinner reservations, booked a private city tour and directions to many sites. If we had questions he was reachable by the “What’s up” app.
Morning continental breakfast was delicious and served just off the lobby and in the outside court yard.
Definitely would stay on our next visit to this beautiful and amazing city. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay during our Venice visit! Highly RECOMMEND!!

Had a really great stay, staff were very helpful and informative. Building and decoration was very authentic. Close to all local landmarks and amenities. Would definitely recommend.
