Probably the biggest disappointment of our 5 week honeymoon was the 4 nights here. We arrived a few hours early as the weather was terrible and asked if we could check in early but was told the room wasn't ready but they would call us as soon as it was. We weren't offered anywhere safe to put our luggage while we looked around town while waiting so we just sat in the car for almost 3 hours waiting for a call that never came. Went back to the office to find the young lady with her feet up on the desk struggling to get off her phone for long enough to check us in. No appology for not calling, too busy I guess? We got our key and went to the room which interestinghly was right beside where we were parked. NB. never saw anyone come or go from the room the whole time wewere parked there so was it really not ready?? Were never given any instructions for the facilties of the hotel so had to go back to the front desk to find the ice maching which was only accesible during office hours. Do people steal ice around here or something? Had to empty our own trash every day as rooms not serviced daily or even in the 4 night stayed. Trash bin outside the rooms on the walkway wasn't emptied in the 4 days either. It wasn't as if they were busy as we only saw about another 4 or 5 guests during our stay. Very disappointed as we read good reviews about this family owned and operated hotel. Clearly things have changed.

Such a nice spot to stop for a night. The room was clean and the staff was really friendly. I highly recommend this inn for anyone who is looking for a quiet place in Vernal to rest!

This place was great for our weekend stay. Conveniently located to everything we came to see in the area. Very personable breakfast experience. Only complaint was I got the king room with sofa bed to have somewhere comfortable to sit and it was worn out. Not comfortable at all. Other than that it was perfect. Price was a steel for what was offered.

The accommodations were great! Recently renovated room which was very clean and quite spacious. Loved that outside of the main bathroom is a small alcove with a large bar and mirror. Perfect for the coffee maker, to use as an area for food and/or drinks, or (as I did) apply make up and fix my hair while someone else was in the shower. But the unexpected pleasure: breakfast! Unlike the many chain hotels, the folks here actually make their food. Homemade cinnamon rolls, REAL "we crack 'em here" scrambled eggs, breakfast burritos (also made on site). And, it's not a buffet serve yourself; a nice employee plates your requests. Self-serve area included beverages, waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, etc. Lovely area in which to dine as well. I'd go back if my travels take me through Vernal!

We booked online, This hotel is a scam. The staff switched us to a double queen when we booked a king. The hotel was more than half empty so there was no justification for trading two queens for a king we wanted. They had no blankets in the room, just a sheet and an ornamental cover that was about the thickness of a sheet. The pillows were the cheapest flattened pillows I have slept on in a hotel. As a cheap hotel, despite their higher than average price for the area, they shower drain as so often is the case had never been maintained and drained slowly, so you shower in a tub slowly filling. They have cheap liquid soaps and shampoo in plastic containers on the inside of the shower which drip soaps and shampoo on the tub where the shower's weak spray never reaches. So, you have goo running into the shower that the shower flow cannot remove. It's also not a hotel, it's a motel where they only use the first floor of the outside motel entry rooms of the two story building. This is a motel, not a hotel. It was in the 60s and still is as used in 2023.
