I am very upset with this booking. We had chosen this specific hotel based on the amenities and location. We paid more for it than other hotels in the area because we wanted to enjoy all the amenities. when we arrived at midnight to check in, the hotel was closed with paper covering the glass. (It seemed to be under construction) I had no idea where to go I walked up two doors down to ask another nearby hotel if they knew anything. As soon as I approached there. I saw a guy closing out his pizzeria for the night and leaving. He was very kind to help me and he gave me another location to drive to (10 minutes by car) which is a sister hotel. The guy in the office of that building was very sarcastic. He kept telling me it not too far from the other hotel as if I was making a big deal for nothing. None of the amenities existed. No laundromat, no gym, no hot tub, not rooftop terrace, no spa packages. It was literally only the free WiFi and the breakfast we paid for and added was available. He also tried to tell me that he since we didn’t add breakfast he will comp it and give it to us for free. So I presented him the receipt which clearly states breakfast included. The room/ shelves was very dusty and the shower head didn’t work properly.
I was very annoyed that this is where we ended up for both my birthday and my husband’s birthday.
