元宵山空谷度假屋酒店

A position next to the sea that definitely has the wow factor. We were in a room (not a chalet) and had a beautiful view down to the sea. A walk on the beach is just a couple of minutes away. It is a little impersonal, in that no-one greets you at check in, and no breakfast is provided, but the benefits far outweigh this. Food options are available a short drive away.

Fantastic location, right by the sea, sound of the waves, peace and quiet, superbly equipped cottages. Great cottages, modern, comfortable, with kitchen, good bathroom. Everything was wonderful. The big downside was the cleanliness in places that weren't immediately visible: when we looked under the bed, it was very dirty and rather disgusting. We cleaned it ourselves, then it was OK. The management apologized, promised improvement, and compensated us. Nevertheless: a mega great place. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed three nights here in one of the cottages. It was well supplied and clean. The comfortable chairs on the decking were a joy to look out over the sandy bay. We enjoyed lunches at nearby Periwinkle (great decaff latte) and the best burger ever at Morrisons whilst visiting White Point just off the trail. It is also worth visiting St Pauls Island museum and lighthouse whilst up there (Free admission). Only gripe was there was no dishwasher which showed with plates and bowls having food on them when we arrived. If this is bit pricey for you look at the Keltic Quay cottages at Wycocomagh-half the price and have a dishwasher- book downstairs. Not the beach but amazing view over lake.

Wir hatten das Zimmer im Haupthaus, links oben wenn man reinkommt. Sehr schön eingerichtet und nicht so dunkel wie oft in Kanada.

Lage und Sauberkeit außergewöhnlich.Wer keine Technikgesteuerte Gastgebereigenschaft mag, sollte hier nicht buchen. 2 Übernachtungen ohne je einen Gastgeber gesehen zu haben, aber rd. 20 Email mit teils unsinnigen Inhalten, als wenn die Unterkunft Beherbergung mittels KI übt. Die Bilder für die Suiten sind mit Vorsicht zu genießen. In unser Suite müssten wir die Sitzecke suchen..es gab sie nicht. Aber Terrasse nach Süden ohne Sonnenschirm ist eigentlich super, auch der Blick aufs Meer. Nutzbar bei bedecktem Himmel oder am Abend, dann aber super! Wer es gewohnt ist aus dem Koffer zu leben, hat keine Probleme den Schrank zu vermissen, es gibt nur einen Garderobenständer. trotz allem und viel zu teuer, die Lage und die Sauberkeit machen einiges weg.

Beautiful location - right on the beach. The stars at night were spectacular. Peaceful. Great sized cottages with all you might need. Lovely deck areas to sit outside in the morning or evening if you don’t fancy getting sandy! There isn’t much around for groceries and so stock up on essentials on your way!

We stayed at the LH&H in 2018 and paid approximately $250 per night and it was immaculate. Our most recent visit was 8/10-8/14 2026. We paid approximately $600 per night. At that increase were were expecting the same condition. Unfortunately this was not the case. You can see from the pictures below: Two windows were broken and we had to keep them propped open with items we found in the cottage. The hook on the back of the bathroom door was broken. The hair conditioner dispenser in the shower fell off the side of the shower. This happened in the evening when we were not using the shower. (It was being held up by cheap glue). There is rust on the shower rod in the bathroom. There is mold on the handle in the shower. There is rust on the front door. The grill was usable, but was warned down. Our recyclables and garbage were never taken away while we were there. We heard that there is a new owner.
