紫晶住宿加早餐旅館(Amethyst Inn)

Una de las mejores experiencias en hospedaje que he tenido. Es una casa histórica acondicionada como hotelito. En verdad el lugar está hermoso y la habitación de ensueño. Por ser un BB no hay servicio de alimentos más que el desayuno, pero el desayuno está formidable. Está ubicada en un barrio muy tranquilo y de fácil acceso ya sea en auto o transporte.

The house itself is amazing, having been lovingly restored by a prior owner. The breakfast was very good and the room was nice. But the outside is totally neglected, with no gardens, overgrown shrubbery and almost nowhere to sit and enjoy the grounds. The front stairway to the house hadn’t even been swept in a long time. No afternoon tea or wine and goodies. Instant powdered coffee in the living room. No interaction from the owners and the guests (the young lady who greets you to the home and serves the breakfast was nice). Wonderful neighborhood.

A historic building in nice neighborhood, close to the harbour. Room was nice, fully equipped and clean. there are small signs of regular upkeep and maintenance not being done (peeling paint, dusty window ledge, wear marks on walls) - mainly in the common spaces. Breakfast was a bit heavy on sweets (lots of fresh fruit though), would prefer more savoury option. Considering the cost it is good value

Old Victorian B&B with plenty of character and charm. We stayed in the Garden Room which had its own private entrance and a little patio. Inside the house was like a museum, but you could touch things and sit on the furniture. The three course breakfast was served at individual tables with linen table cloths, china and silverware, and was absolutely delicious and so filling that we only had a late lunch or early dinner each day of our stay. Although there was free parking, we used the transit system which was so convenient and easy to use and was only $5 for a day pass…we saw most of the island this way. We will be recommending this gem to all of our family and friends!

Lovely old mansion in a quiet neighborhood. Room was clean and bed and bathroom comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. That in itself was worth the stay. Excellent value. Be prepared to walk up a flight of stairs. The carpet in the room although clean needs replacing.

Outside Front entrance was poor…dead plants could have been replaced with seasonal greens or winter pansies. Steps needed sweeping Gives a poor impression of a great interior! Excellent breakfast but no good morning or conversation from server feels unwelcoming. Our third time and really think it’s great value

Amethyst Inn is a cozy and comfortable place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were very tasty. The historic house is beautiful and well-maintained. The only negatives: (1) be prepared to walk up and down lots of stairs, and (2) it's located in a nice neighborhood, but it's just a little bit too far to comfortably walk to downtown and the waterfront. Overall, however, we really liked staying here.

Lovely large Victorian home with period furnishings. Be sure you are hungry for the full course breakfast. Friendly prompt service from the staff. Improvements might be posting the menu so guests know what’s being served, or have food preferences/allergies. Everything was clean, but the mattress and bedding are in need of updating. Plenty of off street parking.

This is by far the best B&B i have been too. Lovely staff and a great place to stay. We will be back as i need to try the other rooms
