Not really good experience, old hotel with dirty common areas, the room is ok for the price and also the location is not too bad, staff unfriendly and they only accept payment in cash, even if is not the worst hote I wouldn't recomend to stay here

Avoid this horrible place like the plague. Rude staff and ignorant receptionists at the counter. Had my shoulder bag stolen and the "Winged Victory Monument" and mysteriously my passport turned up at his horrible place but my wallet, credit cards and phone were missing.. How did my passport (thankfully) turn up here? - very strange and suspicious. The Manager refuses to say how this occurred. Avoid is this scammers guest house at all costs!

Prima verblijf voor één of enkele overnachtingen. Kamer is in orde en van vrijwel alle gemakken voorzien. In tegenstelling tot vrijwel alle hotels in Laos wordt hier niet heel de badkamer zeiknat als je onder de douche staat. Zit netjes een scheiding tussen. Receptioniste heeft een minivan naar het busstation geregeld, ging heel makkelijk. Locatie is goed, dichtbij de night market en het centrum.

The g/h was hard to find as wrong phone number quoted and different facade from one on web site. Despite having confirmation of booking and money taken from bank a/c[hotels ***********] I was told there was not a reservation for me. They had only one room available which I paid cash for each day for the 5 nights. My room was not serviced throughout my stay but fresh towels were supplied on request. The lady in charge was overloaded with work and seemed at times to be unable to cope. I had trouble obtaining my train ticket which was delivered to g/h and told it was not there when in fact it was. A laundry service was available and on final day I found a shirt among my laundry that was not mine. The bed was comfortable, air/con worked well and the roomy shower had good hot water. The g/h was a glorified back packers with private rooms and seemed to have a few long term residents. For around US$14 per night it was ok but in hindsight I would have paid a bit extra for a nicer place.
