Novi resort is close to the Visby center. The taxi charges 200sek from the Visby port. It becomes more convenient if you have a car. Self check in option makes it more easy. The Deluxe rooms are so worth it with a great view. Superior rooms are quite big as well. The breakfasts are filling and delicious. Special mention to Emy. She made our stay absolutely special. From serving us breakfasts to adhering to requests like giving us heater in the room, extra blankets etc. She is one of the highlight of our stay in Novi resort. Things that can be improved: - Reception closes at 4pm but it would be great if a single staff is around for later for any unforeseen issues. - Our room had heating issue, if such things are monitored it would be great.

Basic family hotel with outdoor pool. We had a good size apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Considering the high price the breakfast is quite poor by Swedish standards. Cheap cuts of meat, no fish, no salad, poor choice of breads. Parked here for one night and tried to work out the parking system which didn’t work as I got a 600 SEK fine next morning. Pity when a 3 star hotel which charges 4000 SEK per night and has plenty of parking space has to charge guests extra to park their car.

Very good. I stayed here during May and found it really very good. Room was of a high standard with the bed being particularly comfortable. Even though the season hadn’t really got going, you could use the outdoor heated pool. Breakfast fine and staff pleasant; the two Indian guys being particularly helpful and pleasant. I would happily stay again.

If you are looking for a slow and calm vacation with good location, descent warm hotel staff, nice property with a great view then this is the right place. We stayed at the ocean bungalows which were pretty nice.

We stayed 3 nights at NOVI in mid June 2022 in a studio Bungalow. Everything from the room, to the location & the breakfast were excellent. Right at the coast near Visby hamn. The sunsets over the shore from the balcony were breathtaking. Child friendly as well with play areas indoors & outdoors. The rates are also very reasonsble if you book early.

Die Anlage ist schön gelegen direkt am Wasser, wird aber leider zu wenig gepflegt. Wir hatten einen Bungalow ohne Meerblick, der schön groß und gut eingerichtet war. Er hatte sogar 2 Terrassen mit Gartenmöbeln. Das ganze Resort ist sehr groß, entsprechend viele Gäste waren auch am Pool. Vor allem viele kleine Kinder, wodurch der Erholungswert gering war. Zudem ist das Holzdeck um den Pool herum SEHR rutschig, Achtung: Sturzgefahr! Das ist nicht durchdacht, sondern gefährlich. Überhaupt ist an den Gebäuden viel Holz, das öfter gestrichen werden müsste. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte im Bungalow nicht, Hilfe nahte rasch, konnte aber auch nicht viel ausrichten. Hätte das Reinigungspersonal die Vorhänge geschlossen und vorher gut gelüftet, wäre es nicht so heiß gewesen. Alles Kleinigkeiten, die es zu bemängeln gab, aber die summieren sich. Einmal vergaßen sie neue Handtücher hinzulegen, die Nachlieferung dauerte eine Stunde und bedurfte zweier Anrufe. Das Frühstück lässt eigentlich keine Wünsche offen, es ist alles da. Das Personal wirkt aber derartig unmotiviert, dass man es schütteln möchte. Es werden keine benutzten Teller abgeräumt, auch die vom Tau feuchten Tische nicht abgewischt. Da müsste jemand besser drauf achten! Oder das Personal besser bezahlen?! Empfehlung eingeschränkt.
