La chambre que nous avions, une suite avec deux chambres était grande et propre mais très sombre car sous les toits avec deux petites fenêtres. Les meubles sont de couleur sombre ce qui assombrit encore le lieu.

We stayed here for 1 night in September 2023. The person at the reception desk was very friendly, spoke English and offered us a welcome beverage. This property is very unique as it is built into the side of the hill. Our room was Room 43. It had 2 levels to it. We entered on the lower level which had a sofa, desk and the bathroom. The was a staircase to the bed upstairs that took a 90 degree right turn after 3 steps. It was unique as it each step was designed for left or right foot. We were very careful going up and down the stairs and left a light on below at night to illuminate the steps. The upstairs has a slanted ceiling that I (over 6') had to duck under. There is no air conditioning, but there is a door to a very small balcony upstairs to let in cool air, plus they have provided a fan for cooling. It was a cool night in September, so this was not an issue for us. Bed was comfortable. There were TVs upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs sofa was comfortable and there was storage space. Bathroom has shower with good water pressure. There is a vending machine in the main building with snacks, beer and wine. Breakfast was just OK with basic breakfast food, meats, cheese, bread, yogurt, and eggs. Our timing was bad as the Hungarian baseball team. was staying here and they were all down at breakfast when we arrive and here were no available tables inside. We tried to eat outside, but too many smokers. Luckily room 43 is next to the breakfast room so we were able to dine in our room. Overall, this was a nice, unique place to stay, and we would stay here again if ever in the area.

Pro: - located on the hill with fantastic view of Trebic - different buildings with guest rooms look like sweet home instead of hotel - interesting construction inside my room with stairs to separate living and bed rooms - breakfast with home made pastries Contra: - the bathroom ist a bit out of date

Very clean place with Ambiance and Charm..Nice Welcome with glass of Slivovica or Orechovica. We took the triple room which was spacious,quiet and very clean. Coffee and tea service limited,TV screen rather small The bathroom amenities did not correspomd to nowadays 4* Hotel. Breakfast very homie style,very nice but no Brown sugar.What I.liked about this place was feeling that you are special you are valued and you will enjoy the home like Breakfast with nice attentive Lady. Excellent coffee. There were many nice homie touches like basket with nuts on the table in the corridor. What was very cheap were the super small framings in Room as well as Brealfast room. This place would deserve more in this field. Great Location, nice viees,very quiet on a side holl road. Highly recommended. We saw some rooms without windows but the Triple eas a great choice and value for money as well.

Recommended. Nice hotel situated on a hillside. Quiet location on the perimeter of the Jewish Quarter and short walk to the bridge to Trebic's Town Square. Communication with staff was good. Disappointed they declined request to extend check-out to 11 AM from 10 AM--hostess said "is not possible". One hour, really? We stayed one night in Room #26. Plenty of room for two travelers, stated size is 33m². Very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfy but linens had a stale odor. The bathroom is cozy but adequate. There is a tub/shower with a glass shower surround covering about half of the tub. Room has a sitting area with a sofa, two TVs, two desks with chairs, a very small fridge (stocked with beverages for purchase). Nice breakfast room opens at 7 AM with scrambled eggs, links, cereals, cheese, cold cuts, etc. Wi-Fi signal was fair, very weak near the bed. Lots of power outlets for charging devices but not all conveniently located. SDB. Free parking behind the building. Payment terms: Paid at check-out.

Other than the fact that our hotel.com reservation never went through (and they were able thankfully to get us a room) this was perfect. Parking, excellent breakfast, spotless, historic building in the historic Jewish quarter (the hotel used to be the poorhouse), delightful desk staff. On arriving they gave us a glass of slivovitz (almost undrinkable czech plum brandy) and it was easily the best I've ever had (and literally the only one that had a plum flavor). Just about perfect small hotel. Room was restored historic with vaulted ceilings. Bathroom was clean, great shower although as my wife said it was ideal if you were height challenged because the handheld shower head was kind of at waist level. Quiet.

Hello everyone, I had a business travel to Nova Ves for a week and was put up in Hotel Joseph. Until I stayed in, didn’t realise how wonderful the stay was. Firstly, the built and look of the hotel is so unique and wonderful and I like it so much. The rooms are spacious well managed. The most heartfelt was, wife of the owner making Indian breakfast and dinner for me. When I was told that she watched the you tube and learnt to make food for me, i was so touched with the very thought of someone thinking of me. They were a wonderful and nicest couple I’ve met. Rare are such people we meet who really care for you and your need especially when you travel. A very heartfelt THANKS to them. I suggest everyone who travels to Nova Ves to stay in this place to experience a very personal care and love…. Thanks and Regards, Shankar

A wonderful little hotel with everything that you needed. Room and property were very clean. Peferect location in the middle od everything. I enjoyed it very much.
