斯塔利斯莫維克上豪大飯店(Grand Hotel Stary Smokovec)

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le séjour dans cet hôtel. Il est très bien situé (à proximité des randonnées et d’un funiculaire). Les chambres sont confortables. L’hôtel est également très luxueux et on est très bien accueillis. Le spa est très agréable et bien équipé; on trouve même un bar sur le bord de la piscine ! Mention spéciale au petit-déjeuner : très très qualitatif (les plats sont très fins) et on trouvait (presque) tout !

Highly recommend to everyone looking for calm and quiet place to relax & enjoy the day, classy style with excellent atmosphere, coffe & cake with amazing view outdoors. Worth every penny. Very friendly staff, thank you very much, great memories, we will come back next season, again.

This is a very good hotel, parking easy enough and check in was informative and friendly from I believe Laszlo(?). The rooms and bar & lounge and lovely. Breakfast was okay, the staff a bit robotic and a normal buffet affair, the only bad thing in the morning was the juice quality- far too diluted and not the best. All in all highly recommended.

The Grandhotel is lovely, especially if you enjoy historic hotels in their more-or-less original style. Our room with balcony was very comfortable with a good bed, ample space and nice bathroom. The star of the hotel is the newly opened wellness centre, with a beautiful pool, jacuzzi style hottub and saunas. There's no gym, but then there are the ski slopes and places to hike. The ski slope with ground cable car is right behind the hotel. The train station for the Tatras electric train - that takes you to the other settlements - is a short walk away (and highly recommended). Good restaurants abound in Stary Smokovec and there are historic places to see all through town. The Grandhotel is on lovely grounds. We were at the hotel at the half-board rate, meaning we had buffet breakfast and dinner included. This is a good choice -- and excellent deal -- if you don't want to spend time and effort looking for a dinner restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner consisted of good (not excellent) basics, typically with chicken, fish, beef and pork selections each night, with central European flavours, and less-than-stellar desserts, given what's available in Slovakia and surrounding countries. Restaurant staff were pleasant and polite and most spoke at least some English. This couldn't be said of the front desk staff, who were disinterested and unhelpful, as if we were bothering them. Our door card kept failing (as did our neighbour's) and although staff made attempts to fix it, they showed no concern and just shrugged. Oh well....One person provided incorrect information about taxis - this is surprising, in a 4-star hotel! If you enjoy staying at historic places and don't mind the little aggravations, as well as some dimly-lit areas, and furniture and carpets that are shabby and worn, this is a wonderful hotel in a perfect location. If you like your hotel to be modern and immaculate, with friendly, informed staff ready to please, the Grandhotel Stary Smokovec may not be the place for you.

We went to the hotel for a wedding and stayed for one night. many things were positive, like we had our room ready earlier, the food was very nice, at the wedding as well the breakfast next morning. really full breakfast buffet. really appreciate the high-end serving. on the other hand, when approaching the waiters with a request - e.g. coffee, you get the feeling you are disturbing them. they could learn a bit more the professional smiles and kindness. They were also helpful when we had questions. pity we did not have time for wellness. :)

Had a twin share room that was extra large with a large bathroom & shower. The spa is great with a bar in it. Breakfast is lovely & the foyer bar has great meals too, if you don’t want too much. Would be great in the ski season as is close to ski slopes.

We stayed two nights at the Grand Hotel in Stary Smokovec and enjoyed our room and the hotel bistro. The hotel is a great basis for hiking, and the bathroom was very well equipped. The reception personnel was very friendly and helpful. The wellness area was ok. The hotel premises were very clean, and the breakfast buffet sensational!

We had a really nice time with my son. Hotel Stuff was super nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and there was everything i desired. Everything is close from hotel. Cablecar, grocery store and nice cafés. Thank you so much for everything.

I visitited Grandhotel Stary Smokovec with my babyboy, and we chose the hotel because of the location, and it was perfect. Everything was in the vicinity of the hotel. The view from the balcony was spectacular as well. We even got up at 5am to watch the sunrise, and we decided that we will watch the sunrise together from this balcony every year :)
