瑪納斯度假村 - 佩丁動物園(Manas Resort with Petting Zoo)

Horrible stay, we stayed in this property, we had a small kid with us and they had given us rooms which are way inside and which was on the 2nd floor, if we wanted a room on the ground floor we had to pay extra which we had to as it was not possible with a kid , also this is the first hotel which does not provide room service, for food you had to go to the restaurant and eat , we can't order food in the room, at night we had to carry our 5 months old n take her all the way to restuarant n the lights are also not lit and because of this my mother fell from the stair with my baby and she was very severely injured , very bad experience, horrible stay

Staff couldn't do enough for us. So friendly. Rooms beautiful and lovely balcony overlooking mountain. Delicious food. Massage cleared out any possible venous clots! The animals are looked after well. The pool is clean with a wonderful view, fresh towels and toiletries.

We went to Swad Restaurant in the Resort. The food was very Delicious. Mr Harish Pandit served us with Smile and he was very prompt in the service. The place is also very neat and clean. Good Food and Good People

Perfect wedding destination ,igatpuri, mumbai ,had a great stay with family and friends, everywhere greenery, nice swimming pool, ample parking place, nice lawn , most apt for wedding or any other events.

We decided to stay at ***as resort and petting zoo in mid October for a weekend. Resort is well maintained, spacious and spread across acres of land.We booked classic villa room with Valley view with free breakfast from goibibo for just 7600rs (otherwise the price is 12000 with all meals and tax included). Room was very clean and had a beautiful view. I bet it would be even beautiful in rains. It is recommended for people who can go up and down the stairs easily because it is located in the lowest part of the hotel. Hotel staff gives you this information prior to booking if you talk to them. Room had all the basic amenities like wardrobe, bed, tv, big copper jar of purified water which is more than enough for 3 people, air conditioning, hair dryer etc. Everything was in excellent condition. They have 1 pure veg restaurant, 1 veg non veg restaurant and one poolside bar. We liked the buffet food better than a la carte. We were particularly disappointed by the a la carte menu and taste as well. They had live music at dinner time which was amazing. Also had a screen setup for Ind pak world cup match by the poolside bar. They gave free cotton candy to my daughter which was a lovely gesture. Staff is very welcoming, kind and always ready to help with a smiling face. They are very attentive and proactive towards customer needs. There is one infinity pool and one pool with artificial waterfall. Both were very clean with amazing view. Swimming costume is must. We didn't explore indoor games and spa much but they are good too from the overall look and feel. Coming to the part which we loved the most is the petting zoo. They have variety of birds, chickens, ducks, a pony, cattle, Nigerian goats, fish pond, turtles etc. Also for an hour or two the pet dogs also come out which is a heaven for dog lovers like us. Dogs are friendly and well trained. They have free pony ride for kids twice a day. You can click pictures with the birds too. Oh and forgot to tell, pets are allowed here and they offer pet food too. Overall it was an amazing stay just half star less for the a la carte food. Everything else was perfect. Would certainly recommend this place for a short break.

Went to ***as resort on 20 Sep for 2 nights.. the birds in the petting zoo are beautiful.. my 4 year old loved it.. rooms were ok.. was staying in standard villa 501 R.. food is super expensive but quality not up to the charge..

Overall, it is 3 star not 4 star . Some standards are not even 3 star worth. Reception: 2.5/5 Very small space, not big enough for group of people to sit together even No welcome drink on arrival Spa room and indoor game area are adjacent to reception, very small play area. One pool table one carrom with only two person sitting capacity, one table tennis, one chess and one Ludo. Pool table doesn't have even sufficient space behind it to hold stick properly. To shift luggage to and fro from car and room, no trolley or anything. They carry each bang ***ually, difficulty in raining and luggage will get wet too Room 3/5 First night we stayed in superior room valley view and second night delux villa room mountain view. Valley view from superior room was awesome : 5/5 (only gr8 thing inside room) Tissue paper roll placed inside washroom but nothing to hold same in both rooms. Nothing to hold napkin as well inside washroom in delux villa room. No dim light/night lamp in room in night , even if keeping in light on, too bright. Toiletries - 3/5 Cleanness - 2.5/5 (dirty bathroom) Hot water and flow.of water - after 1min need to wait for almost a minute again for got water to come and force was very slow. We were 2 adults and have 2 kids 3 yr. Before booking already clerified and they told they have large bed and sofa cum bed too if required. Their bed side isn't large enough to accommodate 2 kids 2 adults and for sofa cum bed , they refused to give blanket and bedsheet , they asked for extra charge for same. In morning when we have feedback to general ***ager, she told it shd not happen and again second night same issue in delux villa room. Poorly maintained room for which they charged 10K in weekdays and refuse to provide bedsheet and blanket for kids . Exterior property: 4/5 Petting zoo : 5/5 Swimming pool : 4/5 Restaurant: Buffet restaurant- 4/5 (5/5 for live flute) Veg Ala carte - 4/5 , limited menu, but good. Overall, if there is raining, nothing much to do inside property and no good indoor area where we can sit and talk. They shd add more indoor activities for kids and adults both. And separate activity area from reception. Also need to focus more on service and hospitality and renovate rooms.

We visited the ***as Resort with Petting Zoo to celebrate Anil’s 50th birthday. This was mid-August and there is a nice mix of sun and rain, and the Resort is situated at just the right place to enjoy the beautiful nature views. We took the American Plan valley facing room - the Resort is very large and our room was in the farthest building from reception - this allowed us to explore the resort fully and appreciate how well laid out it is. We were welcomed very cordially by reception and while we were waiting for the rooms to be ready (we had arrived early), Anil got talking with a wo*** who turned out to be the new ***ager. She was amazing - and ushered us to the Woodland restaurant- which is multi cuisine, while the newly added second restaurant is vegetarian. We were treated royally - even though the breakfast time was over and lunch was yet to begin, our host brought us freshly made hot sheera and chhole puris. We were already in love. After a brief nap, we went back for lunch. A buffet, it is a great spread of various Indian, continental and Chinese dishes. We also had a feline companion- she came up to us and sat next to us. We learnt from the staff that they look after this cat and a few others. Anil loved her and named her Diana (as she didn’t have a name). Diana was our companion for that meal and dinner again. We went out to the Railway Dam falls and returned in time for the Petting Zoo opening. It was wonderful - the dogs, brought out in batches, very friendly and under the watchful eyes of the caretaker. The dogs look very healthy and well kept, except for some reason most had eye issues. We played with the dogs and then with the birds. Anil looked like a Disney Princess (in the words of my niece) with the birds perched on him. Then we went to see the goats and the grouse - and hand fed them for a little while. We went for a swim in the cool Infinity Pool, and decided to stay there - but had to get out for high tea - which we had in the vegetarian restaurant. It was sumptuous - the coriander wadi and the marathwadi dhapate were a massive hit and we had two portions each with tea. We then went and had a nap (after all that eating) Only to get up and go for dinner. We had thought we were full - but the sight and smell of the amazing food compelled us to eat more. After the meal, we went down to the stables to look at the cows and the miniature horse. The handler gave us chapatis to feed them. These were amazingly friendly animals and very well kept. A lie in the next morning was scuppered as Anil wanted to pet the animals again. So after a awesome breakfast, we went back to the animals and then for a dip. We had opted for late checkout so weren’t in a hurry, but even then Anil grumbled about having to get ready to go so soon. The place is pristine. And I have to mention the Igatpuri views.
