Motel très sympa. L extérieur n'est pas exceptionnel mais la chambre est très grande avec une tv, bon lit, une salle de bain et petit coin cuisine (micro onde, chauffe-eau uniquement). Le tout très propre. Avec thé, café, chocolat, lait a disposition. Il est possible d'aller a pied au centre ville. Rien d'extraordinaire mais très bien!

Die Dame an der Rezeption war freundlich und hilfsbereit und hatte uns ein Studio angeboten. Es beinhaltete ein großzügiges Zimmer, sauberes Bad und kleine Frühstücks-Ecke. Das WiFi war sehr limitiert, jedoch gibt es einen kleinen Laden um die Ecke, in dem man sich mit dem wichtigsten Lebensmitteln eindecken kann.

We stayed at the Goldmine Motel for 4 nights and found the Motel to be clean, comfortable and quiet. Our host, Vicki was excellent and accommodated all our needs. Highly recommended.

Vicki is great and the rooms are quiet, spacious, and always really clean Stay regularly for work as a lot of motels in Whangamatā are on main roads and very noisy with traffic

Vicky made the booking and stay really easy. She is very friendly and works with you to make the stay enjoyable. Accommodation was tidy and clean. Super powerful shower! Quiet setting.

Cheap motel where you get what you pay for re room and furnishings, i.e. old and tired, and well worn. Thoroughly unpleasant owner who insisted on payment in full on our arrival for 3 nights, then on the second night accused us of damaging a chair (which we most certainly did not) and demanded we pay $260 to replace it. I wonder how often she tries this one on her customers.

來自住宿之回應: Having been away recently I have just become aware of this review, duty managers cannot respond. Payment on arrival is quite usual at NZ motels. Our motel is 17 years old all furniture fittings in good repair. The chair in question was undamaged prior to this stay. i did not say there would be a replacement charge and there has not been so difficult to see what this complaint is really about (wrong amount cited also but we have had to replace). You did take exception to being asked politely about this issue claimed my staff may be lying to cover their negligence. We as a team here work very hard to provide good hospitality. Not always possible should someone arrive with an argumentative attitude damage property then deny responsibility, unlike the absolute majority of guests.

Very friendly owner and helpful with sights and cafes in the area. We stayed for our bike ride on the Hauraki Rail Trail. It was very close to the ride which was great a the end of a long day. Milk was provided for cup of tea which was much appreciated. Will definitely stay again. Thanks :))

The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. There is a very homely feel to the accommodation that includes a small kitchen with everything you need. It was clean, the linen was fresh, and it felt like home. The staff helped us with tourist suggestions and other information. Messages were passed on promptly regardless of the time. Alfred, the cat, was adorable.

Stayed two days initially, extended to three with no problems. Excellent service all round including laundry, and assist to access medical service as needed. Everyone friendly and helpful. Full marks all round.

Very clean motel units. Also spacious and very obliging owner. Highly recommend!!! Would stay at Goldmine Motel again. Close to town and local attractions. Easy parking off street. Very convivial. A choice of different size units.

Very friendly service. Quiet and off the main roads. Motel was very clean and beds comfortable. Had a country feel from the outside but seriously felt just right for us. Close enough to the shopping centre and perfect for those in between days when you just need a rest from travelling.

Needing a place to stay for a few days while our home was providing accommodation for family, we chose this motel as it was within walking distance from our house and was away from the main road (quiet). It was a good choice for a few cold, winter nights, with a comfortable bed, good heating (very quiet air con) and all the usual facilities one would expect of a medium price motel. The only minor grizzle would be the shower - with the shower head almost too high for a short person to reach and a fairly stiff tap. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Waihi.

Our motel room was beautifully clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The host was very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The motel is within easy walking distance to the Waihi shopping centre/ restaurants etc, and yet was very quiet and restful. We will definitely be rebooking.

Very well presented and clean and tidy. Lady who runs it was amazing. Check in was easy. Prices reasonable. Bed was comfy. Heaps of parking. They even do the washing up for you. Nothing was too much for the staff to do. We felt very much at ease while there
