第二次入住，離海邊很近

Very big spider web on the wall.

We stayed in one of the kitchen cabins, which has everything that you need, and a very comfy bed! The proximity to the beach is perfect, the facilities are well kept and clean. Cannot wait to come back! Being able to walk across the road to The Cove is ideal.

The camp is beautifully maintained. Our cabin was modern and spacious. It was nice to have a full-size fridge. The bonus was being so close to the beach, at the most it was, a five-minute stroll to get to the beach. Listening to the sound of the ocean as you drift off to sleep, was bliss. While the camp did have the water cut off at one point, due to construction on site, the communication from the staff via text message was swift and helpful with updates. I would highly recommend this camp and fully intend to return. The Coast Walk nearby needs to be ticked off.

Well-organised, clean and tidy campground. Nice touch having NZ music playing in the bathrooms during NZ Music Month. Staff were very helpful when the need arose. Handy location near cafe, beach, coastal walks and bike trails. Close to surf club. Highly recommended.

Comfortable beds, very friendly staff, dusty smell to the cabin so needed a bit of airing probably due to it being winter. More blankets would also have been nice. Superb location, would stay again.

We were on a powered site that backed into the sand dunes with almost private access to the beach. Facilities were all clean and modern and the camp is huge so heaps of too. Highly recommend this camp, oh and the sunrise was worth getting out of bed for.

Came here with an EV so got a powered site and set up my tent alongside. Great reception staff and once you're onsite, all of the amenities are free. Bonus, best camp shower I have ever had! On a five minute timer, but the best five minutes. Also, the beach is gorgeous a d is right there...

My Mum and I stayed in the disability access accommodation. It was warm, well laid out and perfectly met our needs. The shower/bathroom is especially spacious. The cooking facilities were just right. We will definitely stay again soon.

Staff friendly and helpful as we wished to change sites due to wind and it wasn’t a problem. Showers had the best water pressure I have had in a campground! Nice restaurant within walking distance which is nice if you want to have a drink or two.

We always love coming to Waipu Cove to surf so it was a no-brainer to book a few nights at the camp. We booked a single room cabin, everything we needed was there. We cooked meals every night with no issues. Shower had great pressure. The staff takes great care of the surrounding property, the cleanliness is appreciated. Would stay there again!

Stunning weather/location/staff and facilities = fantastic weekend. Thanks again Waipu Cove Campground. Not our first stay here and definitely not our last.
