維亞堡根尼克酒店(Vierburgeneck)

Wir waren 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel, leider !Das Zimmer war OK, die Lage des Hotels schön. Aber das Frühstück konnte man vergessen. Platz und Geschirr stand zur Verfügung, der Service eher schlecht. Buffet darf man es nicht nennen. Nur trockenes oder abgestandenes Zeug .Eier kann man vergessen, fast roh. Brot und Wurst/Käse wurden serviert. Oft musste man hinterher laufen, weil dies nicht kam. Etwas nach haben? Fast ein Unding! Am nächsten Tag wurde anstatt etwas mehr Tee, nur heißes Wasser serviert. Man merke 3 Teebeutel für 2 Personen zu viel!!! Statt Käse auf den Tisch zu stellen, wurde er wieder mitgenommen, halbiert und mit etwas Wurst zurück gebracht. Es gab nur Brot und weiße Brötchen, eigentlich ein Unding bei dem Preis. Wir sind über 60 und viel gereist, so etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt!!! Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht! Wert wäre die ÜF höchsten 80 Euro, dann hätten wir uns hier nicht geäußert. Ansonsten ist der Preis ein Witz.

Well, I stayed here again because this wonderful hotel is at the top of the list. The setting is without equal—right next to the Neckar River, and the view of the river and the barges and pleasure boats is incredibly relaxing. The rooms are great and the food is outstanding. Mr. Schachten‘s cakes, for example, are absolutely incredible. I’ll say it again—put this on your „bucket list“ because it will be an unforgettable experience that you’ll want to repeat as I have for 30 years.

I don’t know what I can say that I haven’t said before. I have been at this wonderful hotel many times over the last 30 years. It can’t get any better because it has always been at the top and just stays there. The Schachten family goes out of its way to make your trip memorable. The balcony view of the Neckar is simply wonderful, and the rooms remain spotlessly clean and comfortable. It really is a must see place. You won’t be disappointed!!

We visit this hotel each year and never tire of the fabulous view of the 4 castles and the river. Barges and cruise ships quietly float by all day long. Modern, well appointed clean rooms all with balconies on the river. Great buffet breakfast and homemade cakes made daily by the owner. Family available for any questions or needs. Only @25 minutes from Heidelberg. Bike/walking paths all along the Neckar.

The Hotel Vierbürgeneck is simply a wonderful place. The owners, the Schachten family, are friendly, helpful, and they go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Which it always is. I say that because I have been there at least 10 times and stay there every time I travel to Germany. Everything is spotlessly clean and the food, including the buffet breakfast, is outstanding. And every room has a balcony overlooking the Neckar River, where one can view the barges quietly pass by in a beautifully bucolic setting. I just can’t recommend this place highly enough!!
