It would be more comfortable to stay on a park bench - it would be cleaner too I stay in budget hotels daily with work and as long as the place is clean with a decent bed im happy but unfortunatley this place is dirty and the matresses are awful

Stayed here many times over the last few years. In these times I appreciate that prices have to rise BUT to suddenly start charging £8 for car parking is nothing more than a tax as no one is going to stay at a motorway hotel without a car. Even booking in advance, we paid nearly 50% more for this stay compared to previous stays. Despite the convenience of just pulling off the motorway here, there are other hotels nearby who now offer much better value and will be getting our custom in the future. Having said all of that, we had another very pleasant stopover and were greeted warmly by Tracy who couldn’t do enough to help. It is a shame that we may not return again.

Budget price for an extremely budget experience. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever tried to sleep on! I would have been more comfortable sleeping on a billiard table! And why oh why is there a kettle in the room but no cups or tea / coffee making sachets? It is budget, but this place takes it to the extreme! The guy on the desk seemed to be sleeping slouched in his chair every time we passed. The whole place just had a rundown, in need of refurbishment feel to it. If this is a typical example of an Ibis Budget, I won’t be using them again. I’d rather pay a bit more for somewhere more comfortable.

Pleasant and helpful check in staff Room warm and clean Bin hadn’t been cleaned under the plastic bin liner in the bathroom but apart from that everything clean and tidy Would recommend and return Great value and convenient Good selection of shops and eateries on site

Cheap for a reason. The walls were so thin that you can hear all around you. Stay on the ground floor and every time a new quest came in you could clear hear their conversation with the receptionist. Very annoying at 1am and 4am! No carpets in the room, not a bad thing apart from you can hear every footstep. No soap in the shower either. Also no food or drink options nearby past 11pm. Bed was comfy enough and my son slept like a log on the sofabed. Would I stay again. Yes if I needed a cheap bed, but.... would bring earplugs, food and Drink if needed, and shower gel!

Its like being in motorway services where you went out for your own meals it did have good shops with M&S as food store you had to go out for your own meals breakfast lunch and dinner

It's a budget hotel at a budget price so I didn't expect the Ritz so it was fine for a single night stopover.

It was a cheap and cheerful stop over enroute to our destination. Room was clean, staff friendly and just a base to lay our heads.

Perfect cheap place for an overnight stay. Room was basic and in need of an update, but was good value for what we paid
