Loved it here Very clean place

Overall, the Hilton Garden Inn is ok. The room was clean, but the bathroom was outdated, peeling paint from shower ceiling, moldy grout, but the room never felt dirty aside from those observations. Beds comfy, quiet room, great location. But on my last night we came back to a flooded room/ hallway. Evidently a water main broke and my end of the hallway got flooded. There must be an island because the one corner I had my suitcase and backpack was the only area of room not flooded. In the end they credited me my last night plus one night parking. But I had to find a place to stay. They recommended another hotel and stayed there would be a room there for me. They also couldn’t provide me a receipt that night after I asked. Not sure why. Maybe overwhelmed. I probably would stay there again if I was in the Bethesda area, but I will also look at other options.

Was good up to a point. The only thing that ruined the experience is the fact that we had to check out in the middle of the night because of a flood in the hotel. I appreciate the hotel's effort to provide another accommodation nearby, but still had to pay expensive Uber fees because of the high demand. This was the most negative part. Otherwise nice hotel and very helpful people.

The staff at this Hilton are superb - from the the front desk people, hard working maintenance crew, and the best housekeepers in the business. Our room was very quiet (the hotel is on a small street behind buildings on a busier avenue). The lobby and rooms could use a refresh but that's probably in the works at some point. Not overly fancy but pleasant, clean, and comfortable to be sure.

Room was nice and a good size. Check in was awful - only one person and took over 30 minutes of standing in line, which left a bad first impression. Parked in public lot to avoid hotel parking fee.

I have stayed at this property numerologist time. The property needs a renovation. Carpet in the lobby is worn, towels are thin and I actually had a dirty spot on the comforter of one bed. There are now numerous choices in the area for the same price, I will be staying elsewhere going forward. Breakfast was included in the price previously, not now.

Stayed here for 7 nights as very convenient for visiting family in Bethesda. Very convenient for Metro/ shopping/ eating. Very dull and bland hotel with little ambience/character. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Appalling room cleaning - had to ask 4 times for replacement cups/milk/soap. Room only vacuumed on Day 4 of our staff - still debris from previous occupier on carpet. Surfaces not cleaned. Had to complain several times. Would not stay here again but so handy for our needs. Not value for money.

Property is becoming run down. Room smelled like mildew and we asked for a room change. We paid for a breakfast we couldn’t use because it was over an hour late, even the coffee was more than an hour late.
