Hyatt Place Washington DC/Georgetown/West End

Stay away if you can. Most of the rooms are looking into the wall or windows of another hotel. It's like midnight inside the room on a sunny day. Staff not so friendly. Otherwise ok hotel. Breakfast - the typical Hyatt Place bf, although going downhill, like most things these days.

Excelente hotel para aloj**** en familia. Buena localización, amabilidad y excelente desayuno. Solo tengo una sugerencia, que el agua de la piscina cubierta esté un poco más caliente en invierno para poder disfrutarla. Iba con niñas y era un motivo por el que elegí el hotel, pero a penas pudimos estar por el agua fria

The property/rooms was well keep and cleaned. Gym and pool was nice. The pool could have had a warming system, but besides that everything is nice. As for as staff…. I had many issues from check-in to check-out. employees need retraining on how to resolve issues better, a better understand of customer service, training on how to speak to customers.

Booked the hotel for my family for the indoor pool availibility and price but swimming pool was out of service the entire 4 days stay. Oddly, the hotel management saw it wise to schedule a pool maitenance on the highest occupancy days of their week from Thursday all the way to Sunday, the duration of our entire stay! No warning to hotel guests no compensation. I went down in full swimmimg gear to LL2 just to be told by the contractors that the pool was temporarily umaccessible and should be ready in 3 hours. that turned into 4 days. Whats worst is the fact that the Hotel staffs appeared completely uninformed about the status of the pool when asked and were unempathetic about the inconvenience this was causing to my family, my kids. My family as a whole was looking forward to the pool and selected the hotel because of its name brand above other competitors well within the surroundings with pool facilities as well! The manager appeared just as rigid with Zero follow up with my family as I was told by several front desk agents to anticipate. Horrible experience. Never again! to think there was an Embassy Suite by Hilton just around the corner!

When we arrived, we were told that there was a glitch in the online system and the hotel was overbooked. They sent us to a different hotel down the street. When we arrived, they told us that the type/size of room that we had booked was sold out and we were downgraded to a lesser room, but still charged the same amount.

Don’t give them keys to your car…park by yourself. They destroy my rims on my BMW . When I complain they say , we check the cameras and nothing happens. When I ask to see the camera, they say they have no authorization to check the cameras…
