Das BnB war an sich total in Ordnung jnd die Besitzerin war mega nett, aber die Auswahl beim Frühstück und die Lage in der Stadt lassen leider etwas zu wünschen übrig.

A lovely place, very comfortable beds & lovely sheets/towels. The room I slept in had a strong must smell but was very clean.

Medium sized room was cold - had the one radiator at full blast. Greeted by a nice lady but with poor English language skills. She had to resort to using hands to demo how she wanted me to repark my car & had to resort to Google Translate to understand a question I asked about dinner apparently being included. Not great.

This house is hard to find with a dark sign in a hedge and parking is limited. (The Failte Ireland Guest sign in the photo is misleading as they are not listed approved /anymore).  The smiling hostess has poor english but showed me the wifi, and the dining room with the uncovered croissants on display ready to be avoided at breakfast the next morning. There is no guest sitting room and no chair in the room, and the bed along with the skimpy old towels is ready to be replaced. The shower is fine and there is tea/coffee and a carafe of water. However, the TV did not work and after repeated attempts to tune it in, I found the hostess and she eventually got it working. The place is clean apart from the back drafting toilet smell joining the smell of the towels and bedclothes drying in the conservatory and kitchen that permeated the house with a damp smell. There was no local tourist info. and no chatty host to make you feel welcome in their home and to give you directions.  The large serving spoons to eat your cereals along with the iced buns, made the continental breakfast, amusing but a nice pot of tea helped me leave in haste. It was a last-minute booking over the phone (cash only was the welcome invite) and I felt like a boarder, similar to the others upstairs......
