To be very honest the staff and care taker were friendly but the food was not good. It doesn't look like 3 star as mentioned in Google and mmt. The rooms could have been cleaner. Not recommended

The place was beautiful and the staff was very polite. I really liked it there. The place was at the edge of edakkal caves and there was nothing you can get nearby after 6 PM. The resort also does not have anytime food ordering, you have to plan and order ahead. Also, in the month of April, the heat was an issue and the rooms dis not have ACs. That is why I’m giving it a 4 star. But the people were really helpful and really enjoyed my stay.

The stay was very comfortable, the view was amazing and breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful.

This place is for those who want to disconnect from the busy day to day city life and to escape into the melodies of nature. The resort situated beneath the historical edakkal caves, is maintained in the very raw way possible taking care not to lose the natural beauty of the lush green jungle. A must visit spot for nature lovers and for families to reconnect. Provided with a beautiful cottage with spectacular view and best hospitality we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice location amid-st nature with great views. The staff was very nice and hospitable, and cooked amazing homelike food.

Cottages are made of wood and they are amid-st trees and in hilly areas so it provides a soothing and peaceful stay experience! reasonable price, good service. You can park your car/vehicle in resort and visit edakal caves. Cons: no ac, mini fridge (better to have these ) and no tv ( it doesn't matter much for those who love peace)

The location was good, but 1) Very poor administration 2) restaurent , living area and reception are all at different places which is very challenging for travellers to coordinate 3) only rooms booked thru certain sites get preference, any booking thru agoda is not worth their consideration 4) no hot water facilities in bath rooms 5) dont have 18/7 room service for food, restaurent open only for limited hours every session 6) no vallet parking facilities available 7) smelly rooms

Recent stay at Edakkal Hermitage resort was much pleasant visit for 4 day's. And kind of people and hospitality warm welcome was highly noted. And delicious cuisine foods was other things 😋, if trip to wayanad you can have this Edakkal Hermitage resort.

positive:staff are very good and friendly, room was clean breakfast was very tasty negative:dinner items need to be freshly cooked. bath room water facility was not good.

I recently stayed at the stay hotel, and i must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. To start with, there were several issues with the room that made my stay uncomfortable. The room handle was broken, which not only made it difficult to enter the room but also raised security concerns. The bathroom glass was also shattered, posing a safety hazard. The tap handle in the bathroom was broken as well, making it challenging to regulate water flow and temperature. To make matters worse, when i entered the room, i was greeted by an unwelcome surprise - a scorpion and a spider. This was a huge concern for me, as it raised questions about the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel. Such a sight is definitely not what one expects when checking into a hotel. Additionally, the lack of non-vegetarian options for dinner was disappointing. The reason provided was that there were no other guests, but this should not be an excuse to compromise on the food quality and variety. The available food had a very limited selection, and the quality was subpar, especially considering the price charged for it. Overall, my stay at the stay hotel was marked by numerous issues, from broken room and bathroom fixtures to the presence of unwelcome critters and unsatisfactory dining options. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant stay, especially given the price they charge for their services.
