Words cannot do justice to a place like this located in our very own God's own country, Kerala. If you are looking for a place to explore with family, especially if you have kids, then Wayanad is the place and Vistara is the resort you must choose. I picked Vistara from MakeMyTrip, purely based on reviews and photos and I was totally happy with the decision. Wayanad is about 3 hours drive from Kozhikode airport, and you can plan your taxi pickup and drop via MakeMyTrip which makes it very easy and reliable. Wayanad has so many interesting activities and places to see, that 5 days minimum is a must with family. Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary Safari, 900 Kandi Off Road adventure, Honey Museum, Vythiri Bird Park, Go Karting (Mountain Race Wayanad) are some of many interesting places to see. There are so many adventure activities spread across Wayand that you will struggle to do it all in a week. Vistara Resort, located right next to the Karapuzha Dam/ Reservoir is a drop from heaven. Anyone from the city will take time to adjust to the clean air and lush green hills situated on the banks of the reservoir. I can rate the resort 5/5 for its ambience, location, service, staff, food, rooms and amenities. My experience was not short of a 5 star big name resort as the people in this resort gave it a difference experience to me and your family. Thanks to Bijo PM (Manager) for taking care of my family’s needs for a whole week. We had so many demands every day and without hesitation he was able to fulfill. Amazing one *** army. Srijil and Sreshma, took care of my family in the sap, we really need the right therapy to rejuvenate and recover from our fast paced life. Big thanks to Praveen, Akhil (production team), Moorthi, Hussain,Yadhu (service team), Rahul, Yusaf, Shanker , bibin , Raju, siraj (house keeping team) Sreejitha, jinsha , jijitha, Anjana - (front office team). Also thanks to the Chef for making really delicious food. We preferred to eat at the resort daily for his cooking. Also don’t miss talking to Mohanan (Security), he is a *** of 1000 stories to entertain. I really miss Vistara, it felt like family taking care of family and I look forward to going back in the coming years if not months.

We had a wonderful stay at VISTARA Resort, Wayanad yesterday. The place is absolutely serene, nestled amidst nature with a beautiful view that instantly calms your mind. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made sure our family felt at home throughout our stay.

I stayed for two nights at Vistara in Wayanad through Agoda, and my experience was very disappointing. During the booking itself, I was charged more than the actual confirmed amount under a so-called “surcharge,” which was never explained. When I contacted Agoda, they told me to ask the hotel. When I called the hotel management, they spoke rudely and told me to “go ask Agoda, not us,” refusing to explain anything. This kind of behavior is completely unprofessional. On top of that, while the first day’s service was good, the second day’s treatment was poor, and it felt like guests were not given equal attention. Overall, between the hidden charges, blame-shifting, and rude management, this was a very unpleasant stay. I would strongly advise future guests to double-check all charges and reconsider before booking this property.

Our stay was extremely comfortable. The villa was clean and had all the amenities, plus it overlook the karapuzha dam, so it had an excellent view. The staff was very friendly, prompt and accomodating. Overall, we had a great time.

I had a wonderful stay at Vistara Resort in Wayanad. The lakeside view from my room was absolutely stunning and made the experience truly memorable. The service was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to be warm, attentive, and helpful throughout my visit. Their genuine hospitality made me feel very welcome. Overall, it was a relaxing and delightful stay, and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Wayanad.
