Beautiful old hotel with all modern amenities. Room was spacious and comfortable. All areas were decorated tastefully. Plenty of tea and coffee in room including an espresso machine. Great area across from hotel where you can enjoy a drink in the sunshine overlooking the cathedral. We had delicious cocktails in the bar which were made expertly. Would love to return.

Excellent customer service from all staff, especially the manager, Martin who gave exceptional service. Wonderful food, very well appointed and comfortably room.The total is well positioned in the centre of Wells and the terrace in front of the hotel is a delight with an uninterrupted view of the cathedral.

Ideal and excellent hotel for a short break. Great location for visits to beautiful Wells Cathedral, Bishops Palace and bustling town. We had an excellent twin room. The breakfast was exceptional and the evening meals where very enjoyable in the elegant dinning room with plentiful and friendly staff.

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had, unforced welcome with friendly helpful staff unflappable even when I lost my key ( totally my fault) and every effort to make our stay enjoyable. Lovely hotel.

C'est l'endroit parfait pour être chouchouté et se sentir serein. L'organisation de l'hôtel avec ses terrasses extérieures est apaisante. L'équipe est bienveillante et attentive. C'est un bonheur de séjourner dans cet environnement. J'ai hâte d'y revenir.

Mi experiencia en el hotel pasa por una estadía normal aunque mejorable. Pero estoy cansado del ombligo inglés. Ni un solo canal en español. La niña de recepción se enfada porque no le entendemos bien lo que dice y le pedimos que nos lo repita, por favor. En fin, que hay que ser un poquito más internacionales e intentar tratar al cliente con educación y respeto.

We visited wells and stopped here to have lunch. I very much enjoyed my food, and ate all that I could. The servers were professional and efficient. The food came quick compliments to Kitchen team. However, the green leaf used was extremely bitter! Warning. The water mugs could have used some cleaning way too much water stains.
