I would strongly advise not to stay at this hotel! Upon checking out of the hotel I walked passed the cleaning trolley to see a used toilet brush with the clean glasses and mugs - absolutely disgusting I would never stay at a Premier Inn Hotel again!! I will be reporting to environmental health!!

Good location for visiting the area. Clean and comfortable rooms with extra tea , coffee and towels always available. Breakfast is always good with a great choice and always a cheerful welcome from Emma and the team. Should be even better when the new breakfast and dinning room is completed

Whatever you do, don’t eat in the restaurant. Both myself and my work colleague got food poisoning from here, even though Premier Inn maintain it wasn’t from their restaurant. Despite being up all night on the toilet I also didn’t qualify for the ‘good night sleep guarantee’. Here ends my love affair with Premier Inn. Stayed at the Travelodge last time in Welwyn, it was miles better.

Since its changed to only serving staying customers, its has hit the rocks, close it down ,to keep your reputation

Disappointed with hotel. No lounge area and no bar open till 6pm. Nowhere to gather and sit with colleagues. Room okay bit got very warm. Bed comfy and shower good. Food ot good at all. Now outside parties permitted to dine. Can't meet external friends for meal. Pretty dire. Felt sorry for the salt as they were exceptional.

Must be under a period of transition, room generally felt grotty, the bar is now closed and this isn’t stated on booking, restaurant generally looked like it was being put back together. Overall one of the worst Premiwr Inns I’ve stayed in.

There was obviously a big fault with the heating or pipework at this hotel. The room temperature started off at 27.5 degrees (it was 18 degrees outside), with the window open and fan on, it went up to 28.5 degrees. It was unbearable and like being in Spain in peak times with no air con. At 2.30am sleep deprived we had to get up and shower and then go for a walk to try and cooldown. We were away with friends and had a wedding to go to, getting ready in the room was just unbearable. You couldnt even come back to the room during the day as it was so hot. The bar/restaurant was dirty, dead flies on the window ledges, debris and dust, like that the first and second night and decided not to go in again because of this issue. The bar was only open 6-9pm anyway. So we went outside for eat and drinks

The room was bigger than I normally have, which I didn’t expect so I liked that. But the first thing I noticed when I came in the room was used towels and cups from the people that stayed here before me. I asked one of the staff members but she wasn’t that helpful, she looked very annoyed. I had to clean up and put the cups outside my room, where they stayed for a pretty long time until they got taken away. All of this made me pretty uncomfortable about the thought of my room even being clean. Another thing that wasn’t very nice at my stay is the fact that there wasn’t any airco, I stayed at the 3th floor (top floor) and my room was 26/27°C when I came in. They put 2 fans in my room but the warmth stayed in the room, I only got it down 1°C every night.

Simply dreadful. No air-conditioning. Our room hit 25C and were provided with a squeaky fan to cool it down!!! No sleep and an incredibly rude receptionist when we reported the problem. The rooms are clean and the night manager was very good.
