這是我在瑞士住過最差的酒店沒有之一！第1⃣️：房間沒有燒水壺，下去問老闆有沒有燒水壺，老闆態度極其不好的説：沒有！我説那我想要熱水怎麼辦，老闆斬釘截鐵：沒有！我説我想泡麪，老闆反問：你們為什麼不吃瑞士食物？我？？？第2⃣️：冰箱不好使，老闆非説你得插上電等一段時間才好使，我説等了很久了也不好使，老闆非説不可能，後來又拉扯了幾次老闆才説明天工作人員上班了給看看，結果一直到最後退房也沒給修！第3⃣️：早餐的時候餐廳服務人員態度極其不好，好像對亞洲人（可能只是中國人）有歧視，滿臉的嫌棄都能感受得到，我不小心拿了個生雞蛋，不會用煮蛋器，問他能不能幫我煮熟，他非常不客氣的説：不行，你自己煮。然後就直接把我的生雞蛋扔了！寧可浪費一個雞蛋也不幫我煮？？？我們吃完飯打算休息一下看看窗外的風景，那人就迫不及待地過來收盤子了！第4⃣️：房間衞生極差，洗手枱上全是灰和頭髮，上一個客人用完的捲紙殼還留在廁所沒收走！ 總之這是一家除了風景還可以其他一無是處的酒店，明明是自助早餐但是什麼都很短缺，摳摳搜搜，要拿點什麼東西都得看主人臉色！如果想有一個受到最起碼的尊重的體驗，慎選！（尤其是中國朋友）

我碰巧經過這家酒店，覺得菜單看起來很周到，所以我們晚上回來了，並沒有失望。食物很棒，使用當地食材，超越了你在其他地方找到的典型旅遊美食。西蒙娜讓我們感到賓至如歸，也給了我們一些關於當地的很好的建議。也許當我們回來時我們會住在飯店，這樣食物就不會遠離:)

Nice - not more. The décor reminds old people homes, the towels are unbearable (we actually went out and bought a towel), breakfast is very standard and basic. Staff helpful and nice. Lobby was locked in the evening which was very disappointing.

We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant - snails in a nice cheese and garlic sauce followed by a perfect chateaubriand. This is a family run restaurant with a very relaxed atmosphere, but the food is high-end and good value. An excellent bottle of Pinot Noir completed our meal and we we very satisfied with our evening. Wonderful.

Hotel Berghaus is located in the lovely village of Wengen, Switzerland. The location is perfect if you want to explore the Bernese Oberland region. You can easily access the train and gondola and be quickly off on your adventures. The hotel offers comfortable and clean rooms with a view you cannot beat. The daily breakfast and dinners are amazing. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful offering tips on hikes and activities in the area. This is my third stay at this fantastic hotel and I can't wait to return.

If you are fortunate enough to travel to Switzerland, stay at Berghaus Wengen. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, food is outstanding ( best soups I have ever had) and the staff friendly. This all adds up to a relaxed and happy place. I love breakfast here, cheese, yogurt, a variety of breads and croissants, fruit and boiled eggs, something for everyone. Dinner is top notch, four courses of home cooked dishes that are delicious and abundant. Sitting on the patio or balcony looking at the view is a pleasure. It is a great location for exploring the Bernese Oberland Region. Easy access to town, train, Mannlichen lift and walking trails. I highly recommend staying here!

We have been to Wengen many times since but not stayed at the Berghaus since February 1997, We had been 4 times prior to that, Loved it, it was cosy in winter with a fire in the lounge every evening, an excellent fish restaurant and plain but clean and functional rooms. Family run and very pleasant staff in a great location. However, on looking at the website today, 25 YEARS LATER, quite shocked to see that nothing, and I mean nothing, has changed. Rooms exactly the same down to the last detail, including the bathrooms. We paid CHF274 for a double room then which must have been a lot as the prices are not much more now. All very clean and tidy but if you are expecting current expected levels of comfort it would now considered very spartan, presumably the mattresses have been upgraded!

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einem gemütlichen, familiären Hotel. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist "kontinental" und bietet große Auswahl auch an selbst hergestellten Konfitüren. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Ich empfehle Halbpension, denn der Küchenchef versteht sein Handwerk. Das Essen war phänomenal! Auch das andere Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Man fühlt sich rundum umsorgt. Die Lage (knapp 5 Gehminuten von der Gondelstation und 7 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt) ist abseits des touristischen Trubels, schön ruhig und trotzdem ist man schnell überall. Alles in allem ein großartiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub!

Pros: great view from the room. Really love to sit there at sunset and see e mountains turn different colours. At the quieter part of Wengen hence no noise from the railway track. Room is spacious; enough to open 2 luggages and able to walk around Cons: even tho it’s 6-7 min walk frm wengen station. Take note that it’s on a hill hence pushing a luggage up will be challenging. Shower curtain looks dated and not v clean. No hot water kettle in the room. Dinner wasn’t very nice and is slightly more expensive than the other Wengen restaurants. Breakfast has limited selection. There’s only 1 type of ham available. Realised this is not normal as we stayed at a few more places in Swiss

Booked a last-minute vacation in Wengen. Booking communications by email with Martina the hostess were fast, clear and easy. My stay was very pleasant thanks to great hospitality by Martina and Pedro. I booked a single room with view, which is clean and spacious and has a wonderful view of Jungfrau. Martina and Pedro took very good care of me. They accommodated my gluten-intolerance at breakfast and dinner, and gave good advice for touring the region. Half board was definitely a good option and I enjoyed all six dinners. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Wengen.

Family owned and operated the Hotel Berghaus is a hidden gem. Sitting up high overlooking a large field and Jungfrau Peak , the hotel is in a quiet section of Wengen. Eat a wonderful breakfast or dinner on the patio and just relax while enjoying the peacefulness of the alps and the musical melody of the cows roaming the hills. Martina the in-keeper was a wonderful source of information having lived in the Lauterbrunnen Valley her whole life. She can direct you to great hikes and sights. The hotel met all of our needs and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was wonderful, Alpine butter and homemade preserves on great fresh swiss bread. They serve an excellent dinner also, the salmon was great! If you want a non commercial hotel, that is quiet, relaxing, clean and charming spend a few nights here and decompress. You won't want to leave.
