斯奈山北星酒店(North Star Hotel Olafsvik)

This is a self-checking hotel, but they did not send you any information for the procedure. The facilities in the room are too simple. I found I left my blindfold in the room after I check-out. You cannot find the email address of this hotel. Only contact the hotel by phone. That is not convenient for us.

Questo albergo molto moderno richiede una certa dose di autonomia ed indipendenza da parte degli ospiti : quando si arriva dovreste aver ricevuto una mail con numero di stanza e codice di accesso alla porta della stessa per entrare in quanto la reception è sempre aperta e voi dovrete aprirvi solo la stanza. Purtroppo nella nostra mail c’era solo il codice ma non il numero della camera quindi abbiamo dovuto telefonare dal locale all’entrata dice c’era un telefono oltre alle istruzioni per l’accesso …..un po’ troppo self service per i miei gusti. Comunque superato l’ostacolo la camera all’ultimo piano risulta veramente piccola e bisogna fare attenzione a non sbattere la testa sugli abbassamenti , inoltre non c’è un armadio. Sul piano ci sono due bagni perché le doppie non hanno bagno in camera , solo le triple. Ho assegnato tre come voto per la pulizia della struttura ma è un giudizio generoso che deriva dal fatto che nonostante la prima colazione non fosse citata come compresa ci siamo seduti e l’abbiano fatta senza poi dover pagare alcun sovrapprezzo.

Avoid. Lousy place. No communication. Keyless entry codes not sent by email as per their own instructions. No one answers the phone, responds to texts or returns calls. When the person did answer the phone once she was very unfriendly, almost argumentative. Worn out, blood stained linens. Rough sheets. Uncomfortable beds. It’s as if the place is someone’s side hustle and they don’t care about it. Or you.

We booked a room. Drove there. The lobby is empty A grimy poster says to use a code from an e-mail to open a door to your room. An old phone is in the lobby if you need help We received no code. We got no room number. We got a pin in a *********** confirmation. I tried that PIN at EVERY SINGLE DOOR in the building, None worked. No one answered the phone in the lobby. Called from my cell, my wife's cell and from the lobby phone. No one answered at 9:00 PM at night. We had to book a different hotel 45 min away in the darkness over a mountain. NEVER BOOK HERE.

Disappointing. Shower drain didn’t work. You had to mop water to be able to enter bathroom after the shower. Phones didn’t charge overnight as main switch turned off the outlets in the room. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was good.

Good location to sights in the area. No staff except for restaurant staff in morning. Rooms were quite and clean. Bathroom small and shower was extra small.

We had to cancel our reservation due to Covid-19. They promised a refund but broke that promise, don’t answer Emails and hang up the phone when we call them. Worst experience ever with anyone offering “service”. Staff inpatient, cold and extremely rude!

Although my booking contract says, that my payment should be due to my stay at the hotel, the hotel charged the room rate to my credit card riht away after booking. After cancellation the hotel did not refund the amount, even there was a cancellation policy until July 2021. No answer from the hotel to me, no answer to the booking platform

Nice hotel in Olafsvik. Great for exploring the peninsula. No Desk at hotel and restaurants directly nearby. No breakfast offered due to Covid. Provided a nice baby bed for our 10 month old.
