Motellet var mycket nedslitet och gav ett ovårdat intryck. Sängen bra. Badrummet ok förutom att kranen i handfatet fungerade dåligt. Fin utsikt från rummet.

The room was dark. The bathroom room was was barely acceptable. The sink was cracked and had no stopper. The towels were scratchy and very thin. I was out all day and returned to a room with an unmade bed and a waste basket not emptied. They say breakfast included,but they only had coffee.

Location is excellent, price was reasonable considering everything else nearby was booked. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful. Includes standard hotel breakfast (toast, yogurt, coffee, tea, sometimes hard-boiled eggs, waffles, fake syrup; juice machine seemed perpetually “out of order,” and they provided apple juice when I asked one day—they could just do this without being asked since they have a fridge). I got the feeling there was an issue with money. The bed was comfortable, thankfully. The towels are so small and thin that when I put one on my hair after my shower, it was completely soaked. I really needed a separate towel to dry my body. The next day I asked for more towels and got them, which helped. But they really should put out more to begin with. You just need two each. The housekeeper (who is also the breakfast person) asked apologetically if she could have the other towels back when I asked for extras, but didn’t argue when I told her I was in a hurry (more to the point, I needed both sets). The room was blissfully quiet, which is also a plus, and the view out the back to the river unexpectedly nice. The downsides: this place is in DESPERATE need of O&M. It’s comically tacky: the old, non-functioning baseboard heater never replaced when a new heater was installed. Bathroom has missing vanity lights (though bright enough). Headboards seem fashioned from a van seat cover, w parts cut out. Kept scraping my leg on part of the bed frame sticking out. Etc.

First I want you to know I get zero pleasure from bashing this hotel. I feel it's important for people considering this hotel to know everything in the room was gross, carpet, linens, bathroom, mattresses. And I am not a picky person. If you must stay here bring your own comforter and pillow and sleeping pills. That all being said the front desk lady was very kind.

Sunset Motor Inn is a roadside motel with a lovely location. We chose a room with a gorgeous view of the Connecticut River. The room was clean and comfortable, and the check-in process was very good.

Our stay at the Sunset Motor Inn was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. Besides the two beds, the room also had a desk, bureau, table with chairs, closet, nice large TV and bathroom. We were greeted warmly at the front desk. It was in a quiet location and a relaxing place to stay.

We stayed at this hotel for one night while visiting the area. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy but met our needs. Staff was friendly and the coffee was good. I would stay here again. Met our needs at a good price.

The Sunset Motor Inn was a nice stop overnight on our way north. The facilities are older, but are spacious, clean and comfortable, and the price was reasonable. It is very quiet and nestled in a wooded area.The staff are friendly and responsive.

This was a great place to stay. The check-in was quick, very nice staff, the room was clean, comfortable, convenient, and a good value. I loved my view of the river from my room when I woke up.
