Merci a nos hôtes qui nous ont accueilli comme des rois. Tout était parfait. La chambre magnifique très spacieuse, la propreté impeccable, la décoration avec goût. Le repas était succulent. Nous aurions aimé resté plus longtemps. Énorme merci a Kiki a sa famille et a son équipe

I have stayed at Stornoway Lodge a few times over the past few years and were satisfied with their service on previous occasions. We stayed there again on 12 March and appreciated the fact that the lady at reception was willing to wait a half an hour for our arrival. During the night the power went off and was off until we left at 6 am the next morning. I accept that this was possibly due to loadshedding. An alarm at the office went of the moment the power went off and this alarm was going on and of right through the night until we left in the morning. No one to respond to it. When we left, there was no one to open the gate for us for quite a while until the security eventually arrived to open the gate manually, as there was still no electricity.

A cosy short-stay that was a perfect way to spend a long weekend. There was a wonderful view, lots of activities and the food was delicious! I would recommend for anyone in Joburg looking for cosy staycation.

The lodge was amazing 😍 it was a great getaway on my husband's birthday. The staff was friendly Sis Martha and sis Diana. Thank U for your warm welcome. The food was tasty. The jacuzzi was so warm and clean. We enjoyed the canoe activity. Will be coming again on my birthday

Great place, we had an excellent stay. Quite and Safe. The included breakfast was excellent. Its well located, closr to Lanseria. Its easy to get ubers for transport. The rooms were huge and spacious, and inlcluded options for self catering.

This was my third stay at Stornoway, and unfortunately, it was not up to the standard I had come to expect from previous visits. While the staff was accommodating when our room door wouldn’t lock from the outside and quickly moved us to a different room, other aspects of the stay left much to be desired. The complimentary breakfast, which used to be a highlight, was very basic. Unfortunately, there was no coffee available as the coffee machine was broken, and no alternative, like instant coffee, was offered. Additionally, several items listed on the breakfast menu were unavailable despite being listed. Overall our stay did not meet my expectations based on previous visits.

After our experience in Cape Town, this was just a breath of fresh air. ¶ the property is easy to locate; ¶ the rooms are spacious & well equipped; ¶ the staff is welcoming and professional; ¶ the bed is massive and comfortable; A much needed relief from the hustle and bustle of the city.

I would like to Thank Stornoway Lodge for hosting me and my family from the 26th Dec 2024 to the 27th Dec 2024. Also a big Thank you to Martha and Dianne for the best service and going the extra mile. Amazing place. Will definitely be going back 🌼 🌸 🌻

Polite and friendly staff, nice restaurant and the breakfast was top tier. Rooms were clean and everything was great.

Great place, especially if you need to distress and take time away with your partner. The service from the staff members was great. Quite a lot could be improved on in terms of their wifi and amenities. Overall enjoyed my stay here.

Lodge buildings and surrounding facilities looks somewhat neglected and needs refurbishment. Jacuzzi room's privacy around the jacuzzi is not acceptable at all. Jacuzzi old and not working properly, no bubbles, only warm water which defeats the purpose. Room's bed mattress is hollow and slept through and needs replacement. Nearby road (Lanseria) is noisy with large trucks and traffic constantly disturbing the peace and quiet. Restaurant is expensive (two persons, R1100!). Friendly staff. The lake gives a nice ambience but smells bad at times. Room pricing is surpizingly affordable, so I guess you get what you pay for..

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We have a baby and she was also accommodated... we loved that.

We had a late arrival bur that was no problem. When we arrived at the gate they knew we were comming. The room was basic but the bed was excellent. For breakfast we could choose from a menu and we sat outside with lake view. Across the lake there was a beachclub. This will be very nice in summer I think. Very nice staff.
