What a wonderful hotel - loads of original features and very comfortable. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night but would definitely return. Our room was top floor with a really nice view over the pier. Short walk into town with lots of eateries. Would highly recommend.

The hotel looks attractive and welcoming from outside. There is a small private parking area in front of it, but this was full. Ample parking on the road outside. It is a 5 minute stroll down the hill to the seafront. A pleasant check in with Andrew, a very personable host, and I was upgraded to a double room. As I walked through the bar and up the stairs to my room there were a couple of very load blokes in the bar who had obviously had a few. I hoped they wouldn't stay long! After a few hours they were gone. The room was pleasant with a TV in the bedroom area and another in a separate lounge. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided with a kettle. Bathroom was nicely fitted with nice towels and free toiletries. Everything was clean and tidy, although the windows in the separate lounge need replacing as they are rotten and some water was coming through from the rain, a towel was placed over the leak. Overnight the road outside was generally quiet, although the walls seem thin and I could hear my neighbours conversing easily. I stayed for 3 nights but only ate breakfast on one. I wish I had it more often. Quality food, nicely presented. I didn't have to eat for the rest of the day! Not cheap though at £13.50. Generally a pleasant stay, and reasonably priced room. I would stay here again if I return to Weston.

The hotel's location was ideal, with a short walk to the seafront. The room had a fantastic sea view. The room included a bath which was perfect after trekking all day. The staff were outstanding, especially in giving me local advice and helping me secure a parking space.

I had a nice 1 night stay while in the area on business. The owner was so helpful on what to do in the area & best restaurants to use. He very kindly helped me with my luggage and showed me up to room 14 which was a nice size and right at the very top of the hotel on the second floor, so I had a fabulous view over the chimney pots and out to sea. The only issue was it was really hot - I turned off the heating but was only able to open the window a little way. The window opening was also a problem in the ensuite bathroom - it didn't open at all - and as a result there was an awful lot of black mould around the window frames which wasn't very nice to look at so I pulled the blind down! There was lots of water but the shower took ages to drain. However the room had a lovely comfy bed. Parking is a bit tight but there was plenty of free parking on the roadside outside the hotel. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were all lovely. Thank you to the Queenswood.

We arrived at the hotel on Friday afternoon where we were greeted by Andrew the owner. As we were the 1st to arrive we were given a choice of the front 2 rooms both lovely rooms with great views. Andrew recommend some of the local restaurants and pointed us the right direction. The room was immaculately clean, warm and very comfortable. Everything was provided for a relaxing weekend, some lovely treats, fruit, tea, coffee and 2 bottles of water. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and hand soap provided. Downstairs was a well stocked bar where we had a couple of drink after arriving back from our evening meals. There is also a beautiful comfortable lounge area perfect for a relax on a rainy afternoon. Breakfast really could not be faulted, there was a great choice from cereals through to full cooked English and everything else in between. This was our 1st visit to Queenswood Hotel but we will definitely be back. Thank you Andrew and all your team for a great weekend.

Great hotel, very friendly owner who offered loads of advice where to visit and eat in the area. The hotel was lovelyand a sea view. Room had a lobby area with desk and a large shower room. If we ever go back to this area we will definately stay here again.
