Don't ever go to this place. They are the rudest people I have ever met in my life. I booked to stay on 17th July and had confirmed on the 11th July. When we got there after ringing the doorbell for 15 minutes with my 88 year old mother sitting on the step I finally called Jo on the phone to be told she was in Dublin at a hospital appointment with her son and that her husband had gone for a walk and should be back soon. When I asked her was she not expecting us she told me that she could not be all things to everybody and that I wasn't staying with her and to go and find somehwere else to stay. When her husband arrived back as we were trying to get all our stuff back into the car again, he was just as rude as her. Horrible people don't ever book to stay there.

An excellent B&B. Lovely surroundings, very comfortable and lovely staff. We would highly recommend staying . Very convenient and not far from the main road yet quiet. Near shops in Gorey and 15 minutes drive from beautiful beaches. Ice and cosy seating area overlooking the well kept garden.

Myself and my husband stayed in this lovely bed and breakfast for 3 nights..everything was perfect..located just outside gorey..nice big bright bedroom, comfortable bed ,clean towels and nice powerful shower..Breakfast was very tasty..(no fry),but more than enough to satisfy everyone..The granola pot was so yummy..The owners Jo and Jim were so welcoming and helpful. No problem with taxi's..I'd highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Good value for money as well.

Amazing B&B. Very comfortable clean and big rooms. Very quiet...we all slept so well. Breakfast is lovely...salmon and scrambled eggs and home made porridge bread was scrumptious. Lounge is very tastefully decorated and Jo the host is simply amazing. Her daughter who is a hairdresser squeezed me in for a do-over for a wedding I was attending. Great location for easy access to the whole area. We will all def be returning. Pat Fiona and Helen

If you are looking for an amazing stay experience with perfect location walking distance from the restaurants & shops look no further!The Railway house B&B,Jo & Jim friendliness, professionalism and helpfulness were truly exceptional.Delicious breakfasts was made up with lovely homemade jam's & bread, scrambled eggs & salmon,Gronola bowls was my favorite. Highly recommended stay. You will definitely not go wrong. Sharon & Pat

Beautiful home and well manicured garden. 2 lovely dogs make up the "welcoming committee" when you arrive. Our double room was very small & squashed & needs some attention, think it was the smallest backroom in the B&B. Maybe others were better? Fresh nice breakfast.

Jo was a lovely host, our room was modern, clean and cosy. Our breakfast was gorgeous, salmon and scrambled eggs, granola pots and more all available. Very close to Gorey town and would definitely come back to stay again!

If a rating of 100% then jo and jim would receive this everything about this place is down to them their the reason b&bs exist, beautiful, surrounding quite relaxing and most of all beautiful hosts,the friendliest couple you could wish to meet, made for running this place, more an experience than a stay,

Absolutely 💯 brilliant stay 👏 Myself 2 sisters stayed for a night to shop in gory for wedding clothes for mother of the groom We arrived at the house and were greeted so warmly it was like visiting a relative The house was beautiful and the rooms were so warm and clean the owners are so friendly The breakfast room was beautiful and the breakfast was lovely We also got mam dressed from.head to toe (She said yes to the dress 👗 ) No fault from arrival to departure we will certainly be back Adrienne

Lovely hosts to meet and greet us on arrival.. the room was small enough for two people and no place for hanging our clothes. . Lovely surroundings to sit out and to go walking, the only downfall was there was no full Irish breakfast at this bed and breakfast.

Lovely well appointed house with a warm welcome. There were however a couple of downsides for a b&b in this price bracket - no tea/facilities in room and, while the self-service range was excellent, it was disappointing to have no 'full Irish' breakfast on offer.

Jo was an excellent host and very helpful and welcoming. I made a mistake with my booking and needed to modify my stay. Jo was completely understanding and supported me to get a refund through the booking site trip.com

An amazing place to stay! Jo was an absolutely amazing host! So friendly & welcoming, she literally couldnt do enough for us! The B&B is incredible, rooms are super clean & cosy! The resident doggies are the cutest!!

Stayed over for a weekend for a wedding and from the very get go the service was tip top, the owners had bent over backwards for us and made our stay great, the grounds were beautiful, food was great, it was just a very enjoyable place to be! Would definitely recommend to anyone and I will 100% be back
