Without doubt, one of the most comfortable places l have ever stayed in. My host, Steve, couldn’t do enough to make my stay memorable. Nothing was too much trouble. The attention to detail was remarkable. Lovely , comfy bed with gorgeous , fluffy pillows. Fresh tea, coffee & milk and cold water available out of the fridge in ‘the Library.’ Fabulous ltalian Continental breakfast with warm croissants & fresh fruit salad & yogurt and delicious fresh coffee, of your choice. Brilliant location, right in town, but looking at the beach. Can’t wait to go back. No need to look for anywhere else to stay in Weymouth. Chapter 1 did it for me!

It was a cozy and lovely hotel with welcoming hosts.
The room is small but has everything that you will need for a comfortable stay.
We took the see view room and it was just as described.
Throughout our stay we did not find anything worth complaining so I would consider it a 10/10 hotel.
We did not try the breakfast though so cannot comment on that.

前台接待的阿姨服務態度很好，看到我們帶了小朋友，雖然房間很小，也努力騰出空間加了牀。酒店周邊很寧靜，停車免費。餐廳服務有些跟不上，好幾次我們都要重複一遍需求。晚餐的時候，別的客人一坐下來，馬上就先送上麪包。但我們要問才有。所以，想說不是怠慢都覺得不像！

Wonderful relaxing place to stay, with delicious food, best hygiene standards experienced, friendly helpful team of staff, bistro has panoramic views. Centrally placed for Chesil Beach, Portland Bill Lighthouse, The D-day Centre, Henry VIII's Portland Castle and great for hikers/campers. Unfortunately there is no direct lift access to the accommodation area, which is a maze of corridors and steep stairs - there is a service lift to the Bistro which following a staff directed route, you can gain access to the upper area, if the conference is being used then there is no access at all.

From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely we stayed in. Extra blankets available too. Tea and coffee with biscuits and mini fridge for fresh milk (not the uht stuff in the annoying pots you can't open) every detail was thought of. Room was clean and smelt fresh. Plenty of hangers too. There is a small tuck style shop which was cheap if you fancied a bottle of water/drinks and snacks. It is an honesty box, which I think is so lovely. Breakfast included was really good. My husband went full on out on full English and said it was excellent. The bacon was lovely and cooked how I requested. I think it was local. Plenty of toast and top ups of coffee - they were amazing hosts. I loved the personal side of having a chat and interest of what we were doing and helped with recommendations. When you walked back in to the B&B after being out it felt homely walking back in. That's down to them as hosts and being so available to help at anytime even taking bags to the car...outstanding. We normally stay in hotels but I would pick this over any hotel. It was 5* and can't wait to return. Thank you for making us feel welcome. Keep doing what your doing you have got it so spot on.

Gloucester House has it all. right. The room was clean, beautifully furnished, comfortable bed,TV and internet connection worked flawlessly. Lovely breakfast where, in addition to fruit, nuts, cereals, yoghurt and juice, you could order various breakfast menus. Freshly made tea and coffee were served at the table. beautiful view from the balcony and towards the beach and sea. which takes you straight into the cozy center of Weymouth. Thanks to the hosts Jonathan and Karen and the rest of the staff who always were ready to assist if we needed anything

We spent one night here and had room 8 on the second floor. We knew about the stairs and no lift from other reviews but this was no problem. We checked in via the Railway Tavern next door. The staff checked us in despite us being earlier than anticipated and showed us to our room. We were unsure about the car parking. However the helpful staff explained that for a refundable deposit of £10, you get a parking voucher to display on your dashboard which enables you to park in the Swannery car park a flat 5 minute walk from the hotel. You are able to park briefly outside the hotel in a loading bay to check in and similarly to return the parking voucher to the hotel and loads your bags on check out. We found all the staff helpful and polite. Our room was large and overlooked the front of the hotel. The shower in particular was fantastic. The breakfast offering is great - you can choose from cereals, full cooked breakfast, eggs on toast in various ways or a bacon or sausage sandwich. We went out for the evening to an amazing Thai restaurant - Monas' - and on our return, we had a couple of drinks in the Railway Tavern. We were not disturbed by any noise from the pub.

GGeeaitchsw6Booked this fairly late for a b/H weekend. Perfectly adequate but too far off the town centre for me. Basic room, decent shower, everything you'd expect other than shower gel (I spotted as I was leaving that there were a couple of bottles outside on the landing I could have borrowed). Free parking, decent pub with standard selection of beers & stuff. Sport on telly, pool table. Very basic self service breakfast, but better than nothing. Biggest plus was the friendly staff. Chatty, helpful & efficient I wouldn't put anyone off staying here, but I personally, like to be nearer the harbour.
