Just had a wonderful 2 night stay at Oliver's. The place was immaculate and the staff were absolutely lovely. We enjoyed the best night's sleep we've had in ages! The Breakfast in the morning was also incredible! Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Very basic accommodation but just adequate. Could do with a refresh. Shower tray in our room was not draining properly. We stayed 2 nights, no room cleaning was done during this time. Breakfast was only available at 08.15 or 09.00 sittings (Check Out 10.00). Only Full English and cereals offered. No Fruit or yogurt at all. Parking not easy and 10 min walk away and £10 per day in season although we got a permit for a £10 deposit. TV miniscule, high on the wall, not easy to watch. No any kind of hosting or interest in guests' comfort. We were basically given the key and the parking permit and never saw the owner again. OK if you stay for a short time, we would not stay longer than 2 days.

It was very disappointing very dirty and damp smell shared bathroom was dirty damp on ceiling bed uncomfortable and not clean i had to by cleaning products to make it clean very run down place. Won't be going back.

we've cut our stay shorter than what we paid for at the Oliver's guest house Weymouth. This is due to many many reasons. we had to swap our rooms and me and my daughter has to stay in a. single room because the double room was up a winding extremely steep staircase with a wobbly hand rail in an attic room and my mother was unable to get up. when asked to change we was greeted with rudeness and refused to help.we additionally had to sleep on top of the bed because the sheets and linen were dirty and stained with hairs too. it was disgusting. also on the way up the stairs the ceiling is far too short as I am only 6'1 and had to fully bend my neck to get up which is a dangerous health hazards and banged my head numerous times. also the walls were hanging off with exposed pipes on the way up the stairs which looked mouldy. how is this even on ***********. the showers were very tiny l, my head touched the ceiling and the shower water force was limp and it barely washed me and the plug kept bubbling up smelling. I was shocked. also during the night, after a flush the toilet it hummed continuously for 20 mins which echoed through the whole bnb and we can hear everyone else's. I couldn't sleep. now onto hygiene, well the breakfast was alright but the rooms and everything else oh my god. thick dust everywhere looks like it's never been cleaned as explained by the bed linen and the draws were dirty and all the knobs fell off them went to use. curtains were thick dust too. we got told off for being 15 mins late for breakfast yet noone else was there and rude about it to us. after COVID, I thought the place would be a lot more hygienic but it seems not. I feel sorry for anyone who stays here as we are easy people to please but this was horrendous. the worst UK holiday accomodation given to us.

We booked a room for two nights on booking .com ,room was advertised as a superior double bedroom with en-suite,no way was this superior ,it would struggle to get an average. It was ok for a couple of nights but I would not stay there for a week,it could be a really nice place if attention to detail and a good clean was done. No vegetarian option for breakfast so you only get half a breakfast once the meat parts are taken out. Looking along the row of hotels we always got the feeling they only pick up the bookings once all the others were full up.

Guest house was average it suited our purpose for somewhere to sleep,the room was small and the bathroom was tiny with a huge step up into the shower little steps were supplied but I felt unsafe so would have been very difficult for people with mobilty problems ( room1) , breakfast was average not given a choice ,helped yourself to cereal and was offered full English,no extras on the table like jams and marmalades but you could ask for them,has tea and coffee making facilities in the room,no hairdryers in room, good value for what we paid but do not expect luxury.we didn't have a good view but it didn't spoil our break, Weymouth is lovely and had the perfect weather,owner was friendly but didn't see much of him

Lovely little rooms, amazing hosts, lovely breakfasts, would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Great welcome by the proprietor, however attention to detail what’s the missing factor throughout our stay. What would have made it more enjoyable included: be clear at booking in process that there is a charge for using car parking permit and provide directions to said car park at time of booking. The room was basic but I had lowered my expectations already, my biggest concern was the level of dust in the room: picture frames, light shades, room corners all very visible. I was disappointed that neither bed was made or bins emptied after our first night stay. It was winter and appreciate we need as much light as possible but the curtains were so thin there was no hope of a lie in. My preference at breakfast is to enjoy the food and the moment..I did not appreciate conversations with the host albeit others did.

We stayed here between Christmas and new year for 2 nights, nice simple hotel offering bed and breakfast, great location with the beach across the road and about 10 minutes walk along the "prom" to the town, The Host Peter is a helpful chatty chap, the full English breakfast excellent with quality products being used. Parking may not suit everyone as its off site and maybe a 10 minutes walk towards the town which for us worked out just fine, Peter supplied a parking pass so there was no charge at all and in Weymouth that's a huge bonus. Overall a great stay would happily stay again.

A good little stay, nicely appointed room

LOVELY guest house. Ole and Peter are so lovely, and the guest house - despite being "at the end of the row" - is still so close to town. The room was really clean, really comfy, really well provided for with tea, coffee etc, and O&P couldn't have been more help. The breakfast was AMAZING (albeit a bit much for my tummy so on the second day they did a slightly smaller one for me - absolutely perfect!) - sausage, egg, bacon, hash browns, beans, tomato, mushrooms, toast, tea/coffee, orange juice and help yourself to cereal. POINT TO NOTE - Ole and Peter only took over in 2019 and did a lot of renovation, so any reviews before then will have been under previous management. Only other point to note is that two of the rooms - 5 and 6 - share a bathroom and toilet. The others are ensuite, so if you want ensuite book early.

A decent B & B well situated near the seafront. Friendly hosts and all standard facilities including a hearty breakfast.

Pete was very helpful. Particularly with arranging virtual parking permit as ******* had not passed information on to Oliver's that parking was required and chosen as option when making my booking. Also Pete was very good at providing gluten free breakfast option at short notice. Our room number 4 was lovely and comfortable with side window sea view. Also had good wardrobe and drawer space. It was nice to have a separate seating area too to watch TV.

Excellent service, brilliant breakfast, comfortable beds.
