我相信這個地方本身還不錯；但是，他們的取消政策和溝通簡直糟糕透了。我星期六預訂了一間房，並要求取消，收到了一封郵件，說他們會取消（書面確認）。四天后，我又收到一封電子郵件，得知預訂並沒有取消，現在被告知這是不可退款的預訂。如果是臨時取消，我完全可以理解，但我是在2月8日星期六提交的取消申請，而且房間是2月15日預訂的。我損失了大約200美元。現在所有地方都訂滿了，所以如果他們找不到其他客人，我會很驚訝。提醒一下，如果你要在這裡預訂，不要指望提前很長時間取消就能拿到退款。這也會對惠斯勒的商家和非營利組織留下不好的印象。

我旅行經驗豐富，這家青年旅館是我近期住過的最糟糕的旅舍之一。主要問題包括：除了一、兩個例外，其他員工都是英國人，態度極為惡劣，非常不友善；衛生狀況堪憂；樓裡蒼蠅成群；網路訊號極差；房間裡的公共淋浴和廁所空間狹小擁擠；床鋪老舊吱吱作響，感覺隨時都會塌陷，翻身時還會吵醒所有人；此外，旅舍裡音樂聲震耳欲聾，幾乎無時無刻不在播放，安靜的地方寥寥無幾；而且旅舍離村子非常遠，需要乘坐半小時的巴士才能到達。這家旅舍的宣傳簡直是誤導，它被吹捧為最好的旅舍之一，但實際上卻遠非如此。村子附近有很多其他旅舍，如果這家都算最好的，那最差的又該是什麼樣子呢？

had booked for 7 nights on booking dot com after 3 nights. I had about as much as I could take with a shared room. The person above me slept with his shoes on all night and stunk the room out with smoking. So I asked if I could please be upgraded to a single room. The staff and manger were very accommodating with my request. I couldn’t be more happy. Thank you. I recommend staying here.

The traveller's I met HERE were ALL angry who came in from New Zealand were the worst mother and daughter I have ever met & I'm Canadian they treated me like garbage when we shared our dorm room . The hotel was extremely overpriced , hot stuffy rooms , too many body's crammed in one dorm, doors continually opens and slam shut very abrupt all hours of day and night . a private school of 45 grade 12 students , stayed the weekend so disruptive and unruly, hall monitors in hallways , kids stomping and crashing all hours of the night causing anxiety. student unruly in community kitchen spoiled brats private high school students were not recycling their trash And stealing food was an issue at this hostal hotel ... it was all too much , not a relaxed, invioroment vacation hotel at all . It was like the owners of the hostel only care about making money by selling rooms out to huge functions rather then the solo traveller's needs there was no vegan eating areas in kitchen that was a false claim . very unsupported 24 hours front desk , most of the staff that works at the HI canada hostal live there and are angry and hate us travelers, gossip was a very big issue in this community living environment . Rooms were very hot stuffy and fans barly had a air flow . Beds were very uncomfortable hard and injuring my back . Long stay .... my sheet were only changed once in 8 days ... if you ask for a bed change they act like your not staying at the all seasons so don't ask for basic needs . Overall horrible negative atmosphere @ this hotel hostal . It's almost 35 minutes by bus to even get to the whistler village , it's not a shot away as the website claimed. That was a lie too . Middle of nowhere . Prices are very high for this sort of hostal / Hotel . When I asked for a refund for the days I decided I was no longer staying I was ripped off . I was promised full refund if I was not happy. That was exaggerated. Hotel still owes me Canada dollars Washer and dryers both broken, so doing laundry at this location was a struggle since only one unit was working . I observed carpet Floors in bedroom were vacuumed once in a week was just gross . Considering so many traveller's come and go daily . So bring indoor shoes . Shower water pressure is crap and showers are crammed and the shower curtin is never changed . It's just gross here . STAY CLEAR I HAVE A DISABILITY SINGKE TRAVELLING WOMEN GRANDMOTHRR . MY NEEDS WERE NOT MET @ THIS HOSTAL HOTEL WORST VACATION HERE . THIS LOCATION SHOULD NOT BE ADVERTISED ALONG WITH WHISTLER RATINGS ITS GARBAGE HERE THEY EVEN LUCKY I GAVE THEM A 1 STAR

My first hostel experience was here at the Hi Hostel in Whistler……. I’m older and was traveling solo in the fall offseason through Whistler. I noticed this place was one of the cheapest options in the area and knowing that it was recently built for the olympics I booked a private room w/bathroom. I had a vehicle so being away from town wasn’t a problem and it was super easy to find. Check in was a breeze and the front desk lady was nice and answered any questions that I had. My room was found to be really clean and both the bathroom and bed area were really spacious, not much for decor but you’re just there to sleep and clean up anyway. I didn’t partake in any of the breakfast/lunch there or use the kitchen. Wifi was found to be strong and the tv had plenty of channels to browse through. The property was really quiet which is nice, probably because it was the off-season and there didn’t seem to be a lot of guests in the building. I definitely enjoyed my stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again in the future!!

I stayed at this place for 2 nights during the hiking trip in the area. Accommodation in Whistler is quite expensive so the hotel provide decent alternative. I stayed in one of the shared room. It’s basic but enough for a place to crash. Rooms are clean and bathroom was functional. They don’t provide soap and shampoo. The location might not be the best if you don’t have your own car. I’m not sure how good the public transportation option is.

A really lovely Hostel with lots of amenities. The staff are super and very helpful. However there is no AC and our room averaged 29C overnight (outside temp 10C) which was very uncomfortable to sleep in.

We stayed here on a road trip from Vancouver to Calgary. The room was clean but very bare bones, not even a hook on the wall. The building was built for the 2010 Olympics and it still feels new. There is a nice walking trail behind the hostel.

Overall, our stay at HI Whistler was good. Mind you, this is mostly a hostel, but we opted for the single bed room. A decision I’d recommend for most, unless you’re really trying to save money. The room was clean, the bed fairly comfortable, and the bathroom had the basics. Now, for the price point, it was good and you probably shouldn’t expect too much. However, we found things like out-of-stocked vending machines (both food and drink), a lack of extra/thicker bed sheets, and a dismal cafe somewhat disappointing. None of these things make or break our stay, but just things to note. Once again, for the price point you’ll enjoy the stay. The ~30min bus to Whistler is simple enough and you can use that saved money on food.
