杜尼海灘別墅酒店(Dune Beach House)

Das Dune Beach House ist außergewöhnlich: tolle Lage über dem Meer mit direktem Zugang über eine Treppe zum Sandstrand, toller Ausblick auf den Indischen Ozean. Die Ausstattung unseres DZ (Shell) mit Terrasse war perfekt. Das von Gary bereitete Frühstück im stilvoll dekorierten, großzügigen Frühstücksbereich mit selbst gebackenen Pancakes war hervorragend. Auch wenn es noch kühl war, lud der saubere Sandstrand bei Sonnenschein, strahlend blauem Himmel und tosenden Wellen (die einmal unsere am Strand abgelegten Schuhe ins Meer zogen) zum Spazieren ein. Relaxend, lesend und spielend beobachteten wir bei Sherry des Hauses, Keksen und Cashewkernen von unserem Zimmer und der Terrasse aus stundenlang das Meer mit spektakulär-farbigen Sonnenuntergängen. Nach Walen und Delfinen hielten wir allerdings leider vergeblich Ausschau.

Gary, Rose, Barnie and the rest of the crew have made for a most memorable stay. Yet, the amazing location with unparalleled views, the wonderfully furnished guest house and the amazing rooms did. their fair share to make our three days in Wilderness most special. A treat !

The Setting of the Lodge itself is already stunning but the warm & professional service from Rose and team made our stay perfect. A highlight for sure is the breakfast served by owner Gery that can easily end up in a sophisticated discussion.

Dune Beach House is located close to the beaches with lifeguards. In Wilderness this is something to keep in mind since the ocean is quite dangerous. The guest house is also within walking distance from a good restaurant called Salina's. This is a beautiful property. We stayed in the Ocean room. The room has a small seating area with a coffee station. The coffee station included a coffee machine. There is also a small deck in front of the room with views of the beach. If you want sunset views consider the rooms on the other side of the house - I think Sea Shell? I liked the glass table in the room with a mirror which made it easy to use a hair dryer or to organise what to pack for your activities on the day. I also enjoyed the large built-in cupboards. The mini-fridge is located inside the built-in cupboard which is excellent since you can close the door and you won't hear the fridge at night. I approached my stay at the end of our holiday as a mini spa break and enjoyed the fact that the glossy bathroom has a bath and shower. The pool area will be nice on windy days since it seems to be quite protected. Some guest houses on Wilderness beach offer 180 degree views. You can get this view from the beach but not from the Ocean room. As I mentioned accessing the beach is really easy.

Stayed at Dune Beach House during December 2022. It is absolutely beautiful a resting place for the soul with beautiful views of the beach and ocean. Our room was so tastefully decorated as was the rest of the house. The housekeeping service was always done with a smile. The breakfast - thank you Gary - was amazing and partly responsible for the January diet. The atmosphere is very peaceful and quite, which we really enjoyed. Have already booked for December 2023. Looking forward to our next visit.

located on the top of the dunes, Seaview from your bed. Walking down to the beach and swimming area. A lush breakfast with lots of choices. Modern style. No diner is served, but enough choice in Wilderness.

We had a fantastic stay at the Dunes Beach House. The room is exquisite and clean. The views are breathtaking and breakfast is superb. Gary, the owner is so helpful and friendly. We had our 18 year wedding anniversary and it will be a time never to forget. Thanks for a fabulous stay. Hope to see you again.

Sehr schönes Boutique Hotel mit gutem Frühstück hoch oben in den Dünen! Wenn man vom Bett aus den Waalen und Delfinen zuschauen kann, dann braucht man nicht mehr berichten 😊! Das Hotel ist absolut sauber, der Service und die Mitarbeiter außergewöhnlich freundlich! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren im Mai auf Durchreise und haben eine Nacht in dieser Unterkunft verbracht. Der Inhaber spricht Deutsch und war äußerst freundlich. Die Zimmer waren sauber und schön eingerichtet. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der traumhafte Ausblick auf den indischen Ozean. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.
