非常滿意非常温馨的酒店，乾淨的房間，温馨可愛的入口布置和餐廳。主人Chris 非常nice，會提前安排好一切～ 早餐也非常的豐盛好吃😋～ 在這個小鎮算是個驚喜～也是這趟目前為止性價比最高的酒店～會推薦來湖區的朋友～

Great breakfast but the room is a bit small

Just returned from our second stay at Oakfold House. The only difference from last year was the hosts Robyn and Chris, and they were brilliant. I don't think anyone could find fault with Oakfold House. It really is perfect! It is an absolutely charming property, managed to perfection. Comfortable, cosy, clean, quiet, and pretty. Situated in a great location, close to Windermere and Bowness. Great for walkers, sightseeing, relaxing and varied choices for food and drink within walking disrance. Really good breakfast choices, with vegetarian options available.

First time visiting Oakfold House. Arrived early, no issues at all with parking. The owners were very welcoming and pleasant, giving us all the information we needed for our stay. Our room was a king, with a bath and shower. It was spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need was included in the room. The room itself was cosy and warm, and still had some original features such as a fireplace. The location of the guest house was very central to Bowness and Windermere. Breakfast was lovely, very tasty, fry up and continental available. We would definitely return to the guest house and would recommend to anyone who is visiting. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We are. regular users of Oakfold and this is the second visit since Robyn and Chris took over last autumn It's hard to improve on perfection but they have done it Brilliant hospitality, welcome and food just outside Bowness centre with the added bonus of free parking Just re-booked for July

Wow what a fabulous gem! We had a brilliant stay this weekend. Robyn and Chris were friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely and cosy, very clean and best of all quiet! The breakfast was fantastic. The garden was a welcome addition and we made use of it with the lovely weather. The location is ideal just a 5 min walk from Bowness centre and is so quiet and peaceful. All you can hear is birdsong. We couldn’t fault a thing. Much more special than a chain hotel. Added extras such as fudge and lots a types of tea you can help yourself to were a lovely touch. We stayed in room 8 executive king room. Would recommend!

Excellent. Can't recommend highly enough. The location was superb, the place was spotless and the choice of breakfast was fantastic. We had kippers, smoked salmon and full English among our choices. We are definitely going back. I was walking with my two sisters. We are seasoned walkers and have stayed all over the Lake District. This ranked amongst the best.

What a delightful little place. Lovely couple that make you feel 100% welcome. Fab little touches that make the stay special are- local produce used I. Both the breakfast choices and also the toiletries. We found the place to be perfectly located in that it was a short walk to it from the hustle and bustle and after a few quiet drinks a perfect stroll. This place was recommended by some friends before Chris and Robyn took over but me and my husband have no qualms about recommending this place. If you want quaint, authentic, genuinely lovely people to take care of your break this is the place and it won’t burst your bank account either. We will definitely be back

A nice B and B awaits you here and as I mentioned in the heading, it is in a lovely quiet location not far from everywhere in the town. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay with everything as it should be in a good B and B. We were able to enjoy all of the lovely facilities within Bowness on our doorstep. A small car park is handy in the grounds of Oakfold, and if it is full you can just park outside the owners house next door, very handy indeed. Our room was great, spacious and well set out. The breakfast room was lovely, also well set out and a lovely area. No hesitation in recommending this to anyone and we will return in the future next time we venture to Bowness.

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, auch das Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück, in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße des kleinen Ortes, sehr sauber, sehr freundliche Gastgeber, mit denen man sich gerne unterhält. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre das Zimmer etwas zu klein. Parkmöglichkeit direkt am Haus.

Chris and Robyn have had this place for 7 months now and are doing an amazing job. It is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. Fabulous selection of hot drinks on the complimentary room tray and a mini fridge if you need it. Great breakfast selection which was all delicious. All local produce except for the smoked salmon which they order from Aberdeen and it's the best smoked salmon I've tasted ( it's one of my favourite foods so I know a good one! ) The full Cumbrian breakfast was also superb all served with thick slabs of toast. Location is great. Thank you for a great stay!
