蘭普萊特爾餐廳及客房酒店(The Lamplighter Dining ~ Rooms)

Food was very good from breakfast to dinner. Accommodation could have been much better. No radiator working in the room over a very cold few days. The portable radiator worked after the first gave up the ghost. The window had to be propped open with a book, once you could get it open. I would have liked a different room but the hotel may have been full. Hence it was never offered. Staff very nice and efficient. Overall parts of the hotel looked very tired. The second dining room where we eat the first night was horrible. The main dining room was a complete contrast . Much more modern and warm. Three stars awarded and that was because of the food and staff.

A very lovely stay at the Lamplighter. Huge room and bathroom and lovely seating area. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had and served by a lovely, friendly lady each morning. A great Christmas stay in the Lakes.

Older historical building in need of some TLC. Bed was comfy, linens and towels lush. Breakfast was lovely served 2 days by very curt unfriendly server and other 2 days by the loveliest server ever. Was not made to feel welcomed at all. Manager (?) basically looked right through us and did not smile or acknowledge us at all.

Pleasant stay. Clean rooms that were serviced everyday. Staff helpful. A couple of the rooms are very noisy, if the window is open, with early morning traffic. 6am. Lorry's emptying bins full of glass etc. But rooms on the other side would be fine. I'd stay there again but choose your room.

在這個可愛的地方度過了一段美妙的時光，我遇到的工作人員彬彬有禮，聰明，友好，樂於助人，房間位置很好，非常安靜，非常乾淨，早餐我無可挑剔，唯一的缺點是通往樓梯的牆壁。臥室，看起來需要認真維修，但知道工人、建築商等的供應情況，毫無疑問他們仍在等待有人參加，否則這是一次迷人的經歷

During the check-in process we were offered to dine in and that the table would be reserved, however, we decided to eat out so declined the offer. Later, we changed our mind after couple hours so we called the hotel restaurant but was told the place was fully booked and the next available would be at 8:30pm. Upon returning to the hotel around that time, the restaurant was half empty. The standup shower stall had blackened spots up and down the tile wall between the grooves, mold. The room was extremely tight nowhere to put two carry on suitcases.

昨晚在點燈者酒店度過。從非常熱烈的歡迎開始，我們提前兩個小時及時預訂！但是接待員去檢查了我們的房間，她回來後為我們預訂了房間，房間很大，有一張巨大的床，晚上睡得很好，據說我們的房間面向主幹道。非常乾淨，有咖啡機和茶/咖啡設施，浴室很大，浴缸上方有淋浴，淋浴很好，可以使用充足的毛巾，還有一個房間可以掛衣服和存放行李。酒吧有很多選擇烈酒和啤酒/較大，但缺乏零食、薯片、堅果等，價格合理，餐廳佈局合理，價格合理，工作人員對食物非常了解，並解釋了我們詢問的所有菜餚。食物本身我挑不出什麼毛病，所有的食物都很熱，而且很充足，我必須給它10/10，我們吃了三道菜，一切都很完美，早餐我不反對狗，但我們坐在一張桌子旁，服務生非常有效率。他問我們想要什麼，我妻子要了茶，我要了橙汁，我喝了三杯，我不是坎伯蘭香腸的忠實粉絲，我問豬肉香腸是否是替代品並且可用，被告知不抱歉，我接受了這個，我們的早餐不僅看起來又很美味10/10 唯一讓我失望的是一對夫婦和我們坐在同一區域，還有兩隻巨大的金色拉布拉多犬，抱歉，如果我冒犯了任何人，除了導盲犬之外的狗不應該被允許在餐廳（我認為我有權這樣做）我們會再次留在這裡嗎 DEFINATLEY

Lovely night spent at the Lamplighter. Very warm welcome on arrival. Excellent room, well proportioned and decorated. Spotlessly clean. Coffee maker and kettle with fully stocked hospitality tray. Bathroom spacious and modern. Lovely terrace for evening drinks. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked. Service with a smile! In lovely area of Windermere lots of small artisan shops, cafes and bars! Will definitely be back.
