What a lovely experience! The rooms were large and very clean with nice balconies and seating areas. Good wifi, good water pressure, good breakfast, good service and very comfy beds. Not to mention the excellent restaurant and bar downstairs. I seriously recommend the owambo chicken - delicious.

We spent a total of seven days at the Roof of Africa Lodge during our Namibia tour to recharge and relax in between our rides. F qIt truly felt like coming home. The management was excellent, ensuring everything ran smoothly and contributing to the welcoming atmosphere. The staff was always friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt completely comfortable. The rooms were cozy and well air-conditioned, which made our stay even more enjoyable. As a family, we especially loved the pool. Over the holidays, on Christmas and New Year’s Eve, we dined at the restaurant and were absolutely delighted with the buffet and drinks – especially the house-brewed beer. Thanks to the great management and the wonderful team, our stay at the Roof of Africa and its restaurant will certainly not be our last!

Cet établissement est très propre, à proximité des services et de l'accès à l'aéroport. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très bien équipées. Le personnel est charmant. Le service du restaurant peut être un peu long.

Roof of Africa used to be known to serve amazing buffets, which included a great selection of Namibian meats, as well as salads and desserts, perfect to take down with a cold beer from their on-site brewery. Unfortunately this is definitely not the case anymore. We went there for our year-end function in December 2021, and more recently for a private dinner, and both times we were highly disappointed in the downgrade of standard, not only when it comes to the selection of food, but also the availability and the long wait to be served (there was one person to serve a queue of about 20-30 HUNGRY people). The quality of the food is not what it used to be, the meat was dry and overcooked and the options very limited, which makes the buffet highly overpriced. Will not be going back there. Can't say much about the hotel itself, except that it's housed in a very nice building, with intricate woodwork – the roof is especially worth looking at (even more so because the food isn't worth looking at at all).

Wir haben 2 Nächte in Roof of Africa gebucht, nachdem wir in Windhoek angekommen sind. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent, wie werden garantiert wieder dort übernachten, wenn wir das nächste Mal nach Namibia kommen.
