Rapport qualité prix ok par contre un peux loin du centre ville et j’avais laissé de la nourriture dans le frigo que d’autres personnes ont mangé donc vraiment irrespectueux.

Les autres voyageurs sont un peu irrespectueux : répondre aux appels en pleine nuit, manger la nourriture mais c’est l’auberge la moins chère

If I were 25, I would have loved Kate’s Nest without reservations. Unfortunately, those days are long behind me, and today, I prioritize a comfortable bed in a quiet room over the social camaraderie with fellow travelers. Kate’s is a cozy, backpacker-style establishment with both dormitories and private rooms. Excellent communal areas, such as a pool, bar, and kitchen facilities, are available. The friendly staff at the reception are more than willing to assist with ordering takeout, which can be enjoyed in a sort of dining area. In short, the emphasis is on providing guests an opportunity to connect with each other while keeping costs relatively low. Notably, the room rates are very reasonable. However... the mattress on my bed was lumpy, causing discomfort in my back. The room doors are paper-thin, making all sounds from the rest of the hotel distinctly audible. Cooking odors also permeate through the cracks. At half-past seven in the morning, the first plane landed at the little airport a few hundred meters away. But by then, I was already awake, as the curtains are so thin that sunlight fills the room well before six. If you align more with the 25-year-old backpacker, Kate’s Nest comes highly recommended. If you lean more towards a comfortable middle-aged traveler, it might be better to spend a bit more for a room closer to downtown Windhoek

Stayed 2 nights here on the way and back from the desert, is ok for the price had a good sleep, beds were comfortable, clean toilets and showers. I would not stay longer in the shared dorm as they have limited space to put your stuff when all beds are occupied. Anyone can just come into the shared room with no key. Room mate got scammed by other guests, but I guess you just need to be careful when travelling everywhere. Shops and supermarket are a good 10-15 minutes walk, you can order food by the phone, the receptionist will help out. To open the main entrance gate with the key card, you have to be careful, it can injure your hand if you don't do it quick enough from the outside, my hand got caught and injured in the hole form the outside when I touched my card between the rail and the gate. many plates were left unwashed by the kitchen sink and tables. Nice outside seating areas with small swimming pool, snacks and drinks available for purchase, card machine was not working on my arrival, Wifi was bad inside the room. Airport shuttle was cheaper than taxi, the receptionist Angela was very helpful with arranging that and other things she help me with.

Choosing to spend your night at Kate's Nest Guesthouse is not bad at all. You will have your peace and the attendant's are also nice people. My advise, you need a security guard at the main gate. Angela God bless you for taken good care of me during my stay at your property. I was sicked but you had time and patience for me.

I went to windoek because I like traveling, but I didn’t expect this kind of experience from Namibian people. Especially from Kate nest guest house it was pleasure for me to be there. Thanks to all you

I had a wonderful time! The staff is super friendly and helpful for advice on getting around and what to do. The place is beautiful and comfortable. I was suprised at the great quality given the cheap price of staying in a dorm room. I highly recommned staying here!

Very cheap and such a value for money its perfect for those traveling on a budget and looking to stay in the city for days but don't mind sharing , its safe and friendly and overall it feels like home .

It was our first stop after we arrived in Namibia. We had a lovely stay, the room was very clean and cozy. Drinks were available and the pool ready for us. Our host was very friendly and helpful. So we felt very welcome.

Went straight to Kate's Nest on arriving in Namibia. It was a great choice. Price was very good and the rooms were comfy. The welcome and help from all the staff was excellent. Highly recommend it. Hoping to stay again on the way home.

Kate’s place has it all: a great bed, hot shower and a WiFi that every backpacker needs. And it is the cheapest location in town, super clean and with very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

The service was poor as well as the breakfast. The room was filled with water the next morning overall was the room and the location fine..

The place is very clean, rooms are neatly organized and comfortable. Customer service is excellent. Loved it.

As a local who travelled back to my home country before looking for something more permanent. I booked a stay at Kate's nest. The facilities were decent, well kept and the staff were amazing. The guesthouse is conveniently located close to several amenities as well as a short drive to central town and malls. The only issue, was either fellow traveller's that would not clean up after themselves: especially in the kitchen. Otherwise, I had a fantastic short stay at Kate's, I would definitely recommend them.
