The Royal Bershire Hotel did not disappoint in any aspect. The staff were welcoming and attentive, the hotel is clean and sharp. With modern features and in a chararater building set in lovely grounds. The attention to detail was immaculate thoughtout the dinning room, guest lounge and bedroom. The restaurant food was superbly cooked and presented. Definitely a recommended stay.. Thank you Warren Stembridge

We stayed at the Hotel for 2nights to celebrate my Son’s 21st Birthday. The bedrooms were top quality & were incredibly spacious & clean. We enjoyed a celebratory meal in a private function room & the food was of a exceptional standard. The Breakfast offering is plentiful & healthy & there are various hot dishes available. The Bar/lounge area is delightful & atmospheric. We enjoyed early evening drinks by the fire. The staff were very helpful & friendly. This made us feel relaxed, from the moment we arrived until our departure. We can’t wait to visit again. Would highly recommend this lovely Hotel.

We celebrated a family birthday at the hotel. The hotel was in beautiful grounds - for those that like their wildlife, you will see the wild muntjac deer in the gardens from the restaurant and the bar. The bar area was lovely, drinks around the fire in winter. Very attentive service. We had dinner for a large group of us, the menu was lovely, not fussy, what we might call proper British food! Again service was excellent, and the food very well presented and cooked. The rooms are inviting, warm and very comfortable. Clearly renovated and well kept. The hotel staff were wonderful, everyone we met from the reception, bar and restaurant were very attentive. Its nice to have interest and enquiry to our stay from the General Manager also. The effort made by everyone was very noticeable. We will be back. All in all, royal service and stay at the Royal Berkshire.

What a lovely hotel this is, it’s very charming with some lovely touches, it’s definitely not your typical cookie cutter corporate brand but so much more. The service is always warm and friendly, it’s feels professional yet so relaxed and comfortable. I love the lounge, it’s cosy armchairs, the roaring fire and overlooking the gardens which are beautifully kept, it really feels like a hidden oasis. I’ve stayed quite a few times as it’s really convenient for visiting family in and around the area as well as being a great location for Heathrow and Gatwick.

I attended a wedding in September and At the end of October an amount was taken from my without authorisation. I complained and was told that the merchant had taken the random amount from me and many other guests. The money was credited about a week later. In November, a larger amount was taken and when I complained again they told me that it was a Pin verified late charge from September. Top tip. Check and keep your transaction receipts and watch your bank for months after visiting. This is one venue I will not return to, which is a shame because I enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful hotel and grounds, all staff very pleasant and accommodating and made this an extra special stay. We were provided with a lovely large upgraded bedroom and also private dining to accommodate my husband's nut allergy. Delicious food, nice bar area. All staff went above and beyond, we can't thank you enough!

We usually stay in for Valentines night but thought we'd treat ourselves. Booked for dinner. Not a rose or heart in sight! nothing made the night special really. Food was ok, pricey but expect that. Although my dessert, caramel, apple cheesecake was yummy but I really thought it was a taster. Just a sliver of cheesecake. For the price, very dissapointed. The Royal Berkshire has wonderful memories for us. Both our daughters weddings, our wedding anniversary party and family Boxing Day lunches in the library for a few years. Still love the place but don't think we will have dinner there again. Also, for occasions like Valentines etc, the hotel could have stepped up a bit. Sorry 🤷‍♀️ Regards Jeannie

Delightful hotel, very comfortable, what made it for us was the staff were very welcoming and friendly and looked after us during breakfast and dinner, sorry didn't get any names, the gardens were well kept and lovely to walk around, will deffo return 😀

We came to visit The Royal Berkshire back in February 2020 before lockdown. We meet the lovely Evie and after that meeting we know we found the venue of our dreams!! And booked straight away!! After lockdown staff had changed and we went through a couple of temporary wedding coordinators. I must say the communication was lacking and I found myself feeling very nervous and not sure who was looking after our big day. Then something magical happened! The Royal Berkshire found the perfect team! And we was met by the Lovely Dominika who invited us in for a chat. We spoke about the day, voiced our concerns and we were heard, listened to and reassured that our wedding was in good hands. The venue invited us to an open evening, where they had revamped the wedding space to update it, we were able to check out the new fresh rooms and try the delicious canapés. Near the time of the wedding we did our menu tasting. We were given a choice of food and wines to try for the big day. 2 months away from the wedding, we was given our personal wedding coordinator for the day it’s self!! The lovely Lydia!! At first I was a little upset that Dominika was not going to look after the day it’s self! But we met with Lydia and fell in love!! She saw my vision my bible book!! And loved it!! The Friday before the wedding we had are final handover with Lydia who was looking after the day of the wedding and Sam who was looking after the evening part of the wedding. The handover was perfect we went through all the details and was happy knowing our big day was in the best hands. The wedding was a big success with no hiccups, Lydia was able to take everything from my wedding planner and make my vision come true. She was a dream to work with and a great asset to the Royal Berkshire family. I want to say a big Thank you!!!! The Royal Berkshire is a home away from Home. With the best wedding team!! A massive Thank you!! To Lydia your an amazing person, you made the final process so easy and made us feel so relaxed towards the end. We had a great laugh with you, keep being you!! Amazing 🤩! Look after them upcoming brides as I know you will. A big Thank you!! To Sam you helped the evening run so smoothly. I wish you all the very best for your upcoming engagement! She will say YES!!
