埃爾莫末小屋旅館

Personnel accueillant et très accommodant. Magnifique vue qui vaut la montée des marches. On se sent en nature. Chambre simple, mais qui comporte tout le nécessaire avec un souci du détail. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Een van de goedkopere Cottage/hotel van Saba, als je ook nog een beetje op loopafstand van restaurants, bars en supermarkt wilt zitten. Ik ben gewend om in hotels te slapen, maar dit was eigenlijk best wel leuk en goed. De huisjes zijn inderdaad van hout en niet alles sluit perfect en de wastafel is buiten en de douche/toilet zit apart. Dit is trouwens niet bij alle huisjes.... Heerlijk om zo tussen de natuur en de beestje te slapen, waarbij je overigens binnen alleen wat kleine mieren en muggen hebt, de rest van de beestjes blijven buiten. Er hangt een klamboe over je bed en ik had 's avonds eigenlijk wel het idee op een hotelkamer te verblijven, welliswaar zonder tv, maar met goed internet en elektriciteit. Het zwembad is niet groot, maar lekker om even af te koelen. Het ontbijt is eenvoudig, maar genoeg en je kan kiezen uit behoorlijk wat drankjes die je zelf kan pakken (wel opschrijven). Let wel even op dat je wel een behoorlijk aantal trappen op moet lopen (ook met je koffer en andere bagage) om boven te komen. Het uitzicht is prachtig.

Les oreillers pas terrible literie pas top La vue très bien mais l’hôtel pas très bien entretenu ! Le patron très sympa très accueillant ! La douche très original vue sublime mais tout ça manque d’un bon rafraîchissement ! L’hôtel est bien situé

Beautiful views, rustic cottages, unplugged from everything. Lots of stairs, that was expected and added to the adventure. Beautiful pool. No mosquitos for us which was great. We stated in Cottage in the sky, great little kitchen, we cooked every day. But breakfast and the honor bar were really nice. Very romantic visit, occasionally accompanied by the neighbors dogs barkig. , but Andries is working out a compromise with them to keep that down. The owners are really nice, Andries is a natural and hardworking innkeeper. Make sure to pick his brain for places to eat (all were good), and use taxis, the drivers are great tourguides.

We loved this place, even if part of the appeal was in knowing that other people would be too spoiled or uptight to deal with the long stairs, the uphill walk home from the restaurants, the composting toilet, the occasional visit from the cat, etc. The proprietors are very sincere, personable and helpful and have a great sense of humor. Prices are better than fair. The pool is a great asset and the breakfasts are solid. If you think of the rooms as forest cabins instead of a "hotel," it feels glamorous. We heartily recommend this place.

Great views from our cottage, and the whole property. The owners Andries and Eva are nice and really working hard to make this work. But everything is old and needs work. That said this is a place in the middle of nature and of course there are bugs and butterflies. The breakfast they serve is just great and well priced. And how they try to be eco friendly is appreciated, but if all would be cleaner it would be better.

We loved our time at El Momo!! Andries is an absolute hoot and he and his partner took such good care of us! The views from the cottages (even from our shower!) are absolutely breathtaking. The breakfasts they provide are delicious. Everyone we met staying there was friendly. Definitely for the bit more adventurous type because of the outdoor feel and the climb to get there, but it's worth it! And they come in and clean your cottages which was such a nice treat! 10/10 recommend staying at El Momo!

I like the idea. Not really practical FOR ME for an extended stay. However, the experience is a must try! Owner/staff was extremely friendly with a sense of humor. He made me feel safe & at home. Overall, I love the experience. For my first time on Saba, I would have done nothing differently.

Loved this place as so simply beautiful and relaxed. Not suitable if struggle with mobility as located up a steep hill / steps ... But worth the view.
