You would think with over 24 hrs notice the room would be ready to occupy, you would be wrong. No toilet tissue, no bath towels, 1 bar of soap and you couldn't use the pool. A/C didn't work. August in the Nevada with no A/C. At 8 pm when we checked in the staff was still making beds, horribly mismanaged.

Customer service was friendly. Place was clean-ish. Breakfast was at Econo Lodge across the street. Nothing fancy about the place. Looks to be newly renovated. Neighborhood iffy so lock your door. The lighting outside was really bright so that probably helped to keep riffraff away.

Wow - I’ve been to some nice America’s Value Inn’s, but this is not one of them. It’s an old motel that has undergone some renovation, but not enough. The heat comes from this little noisy unit built high into the wall and setback in a small alcove. The heat was off when we got in the room, even though it was very cold out. Needless to say, this unit did not heat up the room - it was cold. The bathroom was tiny, and the bathroom door was falling off the hinges! It’s a really small room and a very tired building. It makes Motel 6 look like the Ritz. We told the front desk person about the problems and said we weren’t staying. He agreed to refund our money, which he did, but then the charge was reposted to our credit card the next day.

One of the things I look for in a quick overnight stay on the road is a breakfast. When I checked in, l found they did NOT have one, even though it's on their list of amenities. Isn't that false advertising??? They could have at least given me a voucher somewhere. The upgrades they have done are nice but still is nothing fancy. The room was clean except for the floors... muddy footprints all over. ***! The bar of soap in the bathroom was put back in the plastic BUT had been used. Yuck! Won't ever stay here again!!

I was attracted to the place because the reader board said that the rooms were recently renovated. I checked in at 5:24 PM on 5/14/23. The room was ok. I spent about 30 minutes in my room Some other travelers were blasting music in the stairway, used foul language and were generally inconsiderate. I went back to the office to see if I could get a refund. The office was closed. I checked into another hotel down the street. The next morning, I went back to return my key. The office was still closed. I think the place would have been a free for all without any apparent management on site. I do not recommend this motel.

This place is a wonderful vintage hotel. The pool is amazing, clean and big! You don’t see these that often. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast plentiful. Beds are very comfortable and the room very clean! I would definitely go back.

I stayed here because I just needed a place to sleep while passing through. The a/c was so loud, the lights on outside your door are so bright that even if you fully close the curtains, the room stays bright. You get what you pay for- it was cheap, but I wish I spent a bit more on a hotel that I could actually get a good night sleep in.
