The hotel is clean and the breakfast is very nice. The room is very big with good amenities too

Really lovely, central hotel, set back from the main road. Quiet, spotlessly clean and the room was warm and cosy, with nice decor. Home away from home. Didn’t use hotel amenities, bar room service. From what I saw, it was of high standard. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely clean room, great swimming pool, fab breakfast. Terrible organisation, and not good customer service. I arrived for a one night stay that I'd booked only a few hours before, I was so grateful they could check me in early. In my room was just a fan, the aircon not working on a day of 32 degree heat. They said they would send maintenance as no other room at that point was available. After waiting an hour and then after the normal check in time I came down to switch rooms. I was told that half the rooms didn't have working aircon. I pointed out to them that I'd only booked that day, why didn't they stop selling rooms or call people? I thankfully got a new room after 90 minutes of waiting. Later I had a very overpriced and terrible glass of wine with a friend outside. All the tables were covered in food, glasses and drink. In the two hours we sat there no one cleaned up, and a lot of the mess was still there the next day. Later I tried calling room service, after 10 minutes of no answer with room service and reception I went down there to be told that after 9 you had to go to the restaurant to order and then they will deliver (which is not what they put on the TV!). The receptionist was also very unpleasant to deal with. I spoke to so many guests who were disappointed. I have stayed at a lot of Hiltons and will continue to do so in the future but not here!. I would recommend some staff training, and for the staff to be a little more proactive and people friendly.

Disappointing, went for a Friday and Saturday evening for wedding in another location. Friday evening meal, limited choice of wine, no rose or prosecco. Surprising for hotel of this size. No light bulb in room or air-conditioning, not working. Asked hotel staff to replace, but not done. Booking for parents, room not appropriate , had ordered twin bedded room, but not available when booking in. Seemed to be understaffed and resourced Felt sorry for hotel staff as obviously badly managed. Waiters tried to accommodate our needs

Recieved other email communucations prior to arriving but nothing that mentioned the pool and jacuzzi facilities were not going to be available despite fully advertised on website when booking and the sole reason we chose this hotel and the reason we came early in the day to give the kids something to do they were excited to go swimming and had all our stuff ready just to be told on checkin that swimming would not be available due to technical issues, really disapointed kids +adults, i had to quickly research the local area to book and pay a load extra to go out for entertainment for the kids as they otherwise had nothing else to do but climb the walls, i would otherwise have enjoyed the stay if id been informed beforehand but they don't do that because you might cancel so you go on the pretence you can swim. I see in other reviews this is a regular occurrence with the pool so perhapsthey open it only as and when they feel like it but it brings in the customers to advertise it!! Would not go again as it just made it stressful after a long journey. Black mould to the extent i would never dream of letting get that bad in my own home, would be easily solved with one product, bathroom extractor not working and paint peeling around the whole bathroom all likely due to damp problem of extractor not working for a long time. Room otherwise good size and had good potential but let down by the bathroom which made us feel like we were showering in a mould spore filled soup.

Booked a 'deluxe room with 2 QUEEN beds' Got there and noticed the beds were small so asked for another single bed (Family of four) or more bedding. Was told these ARE IN FACT queen size beds, there will no bedding or additional single. We then went to the trouble of measuring them ourselves. Guess what? 4'6" (DOUBLES) Paid for 2 queen and get 2 double. Would be interested in what they have to say before I do a charge back. Terrible nights sleep as my wife and I had to share with the kids respectively. Breakfast wasn't much better.
